Japan yes, China and Skorea only the top ones are any good, most other degrees out of those countries are worth less than American AS degrees.

Ok thanks!

Japanese universities are really easy and most students just skip all their class for 4 years. Their graduate programs are OK.
Chinese universities aren't worth their weight in shit.
Korean universities are meh (many Koreans head off to 'merika ones if they can)

Are American AS degrees actually worth anything?

The STEM degrees give you a leg up on being a lab tech (the positions that require a high school diploma). I have no info on the liberal arts degrees.

I'll tell you all about it when I see you again.

Japanese undergrads are somewhat oddly quite bad. They give absolutely brutal entrance exams but once you're in everything is piss easy and very forgiving and kids basically fuck around for their bachelor's.

Chinese schools are so full to the brim of cheating and plagiarism and other bullshit that nobody will respect your degree enough to hire you.

Don't know enough about Korea to say.
