There is a correlation between frequent masturbation and lack of mental stimulation in my opinion, when we focus on things and become fully immersed in the world of that subject, we naturally, and for a brief period, lose all lust (whether it be to penetrate, or masturbate). So if OP is being honest, he has it backwards. When he is dumb, or keeping the qualities of a dumb person, he masturbates a lot, thus creating the illusion that when he masturbates he becomes dumb.
