A toxic dose (0.1mcg for a 100kg individual, this is on the low side of the LD50 which is 1.3-2ng/kg if inhaled or injected) of botulinum toxin is about 500 billion molecules. That's about 5x the estimate of how many stars are in our galaxy, maybe 1x the highest estimate out there (just guessing that).
...and botulinum toxin is a protein with a molar mass of 150kg per mole.
A dose of LSD is about 100mcg and has a much, much lower molar mass (even if it's big relative to other molecules..).
I think you underestimate how small molecules are and how many of them fit in such a small space.
