I used to like Kaku, but then he started to annoy me. I don't fully hate the guy, but I decided to take a break from him. He has thought a lot of future possibilities and has taken physics to the extreme limits in his visions. I have read couple of his books and they are OK, easy and light to read, more entertaining then scientific. Books like the physics of the impossible and the future of the mind.

Kaku is way better. As a high schooler he friggin assembled a particle accelerator for a science fair project in an attempt to generate "a beam of gamma rays powerful enough to create antimatter."

Michio Kaku seems nicer. Neil deGrasse Tyson seems to have more charisma. I believe neither is better, but a matter of which suits your liking better.

I like Kaku more too. I find his videos more enjoyable to watch. While Tyson gives me the "me me me!" Impression.
