But it is
>>7932537
duh.
math started as geometry. It only became abstract later.

nah ah
I wouldn't say stuff like the Pigeonhole principle are "geometric", unless you consider thing in space already to be a geometric thing.
Then I'd reword your sort of definition as
>math is (just) a formal language for expressing physical ideas
Except people who don't think much about the phyiscal motivations go on and develope math on the formal level, symbols on paper and some rules to move them around suffices for what is today considered math - and the abstract results gained this way often translate back to the use in dealing with physical phenomena (again, here in this definition combinatorics is also considered a physical phenomena)

>lowercase letters for objects.
Logicians are not real mathematicians.
Mathematics has many different foundations. Its just an abstraction of spaces, an abstraction of computer programs, an abstraction of graphs, an abstraction of games...
>>7932694
what if the game was an abstraction and the math was the reality.
>>7932537
I'll tell you something
>something very interesting
Something to prize
>Something to succeed the model
Something to give more depth to space than currently realized
>Something that might turn a world from upside down...
To something that could narrate a force beyond space

When you write an equation that equals more than two, you have created a new shape.
All these shapes are coherent in nature.
All these shapes have baring on a kind of space...
All these shapes have a baring on the eventual outcome of space
All these shapes have already been described
Dislocated
And translated by space
But the real key
Is how they are inside each other
And the more you dissect a string of variables
Can lead the very fabrics of what will effect you
And those around you....
What's really remarkable...
Once you start inserting infinity minus a number greater than two...
Is the very process
Of what breeds reality.
This information is not lite
It is a kind of weight that few know how to bear
But once you achieve it
You'll know the future is fair.
Good luck folks!

>>Mathematics is just an abstraction of geometric phenomena!
That's backwards:
http://www.amazon.com/Relativity-The-Special-General-Theory/dp/1891396307
Einstein begins his seminal work on GR by declaring that geometry uses imaginary shapes to represent numbers, not the other way around, and that any relationship between the ideal, imaginary forms of geometry and shapes in the real world is purely coincidental.

What if reality is existentially on level footing with every other game which can be described.
>>7932550
I've seen pics like these before, what subject are they from. I want to know more
>>7933349
they're commutative diagrams
pretty much every field of math has them
if you just want to look up cool pictures of things with arrows, start with category theory

>mfw binary universe is real

Also look into homological algebra for absurd diagrams.
just?
