When I'm in power, there will be mandatory boarding schools from 14-18 where the youth learn patriotism and health of mind and body. Access to the internet and

Most of the graduates will then be funneled into 1-2 year apprenticeship programs where they learn a trade that will serve the state and society, or they will become grunts in the military.

The academically gifted, like the top 15%, will be moved on to universities. Most will be solely focused on academics, the others will go to military academies to learn to be officers.

After 2 years, the non-military students will be required to learn a profession, like law, medicine or accountancy. The top few will have the option to go on to grad school immediately to learn to be scholars.

The entire able population will have to meet physical fitness standards, or they will be required to go to PT run by the military until they can, and pay a tax.
>>
>>7930170
Have you ever heard of conservation of mass? There is no net gain in mass for the earth if you get fat. The mass will be gone somewhere else.

>Mass of earth/ Mass of people [math] \approx 10 ^{24} / 10 ^{10} = 10^{14} [/math]

So the earth is 100 trillion times heavier than the people here, so no, it's going to do shit.

At least that fat abomination in OP's pic wouldn't exist.

The militarized education system worked in Sparta. Maybe there would have to be a helot class of depth-grovelers.
>>
>>7930321
>The entire able population will have to meet physical fitness standards
Anon, are you aware that you will one day become frail, possibly psychologically disturbed, and then will die?

>>
>>7930358
Also, everything needed to make everyone on earth weigh 400 lbs is already on the earth. Stupid dumbasses always trying to overcomplicate shit. Fuck you.
>>
>>7930380
Of course, the standards would be adjusted based on age. There would come a point where age makes some one not able bodied. Maybe the tests would end once you are 60.

Also, athletic competition will be encouraged by the state, and everyone will have to participate during their school years. It will become not mandatory, but encouraged for everyone else. There will be national level championships with cash prizes for ages 18-28, 29-38,...,58+ funded by the state.
>>
>>7930377
>The militarized education system worked in Sparta.

Not really. The "Spartan warriors" were really just the aristocracy. Like other aristocracies, they needed an actual society of productive people (in their case, slaves) to support their dumb lifestyle. They may has well have been idle hedonists.
>>
>>7930249
Because that's already done? It just happens over time.
>>
>>7930405

>>7930258
this
>>
>>7930402
The system forged hard, strong military leaders from the aristocracy. It is ridiculous to think that the system was worthless, as Sparta gained their slaves and wealth from their conquests, and the military kept them free from Persian rule.

The system that I described gives everyone an opportunity to rise to the military elite if they want to and have the capability. And the working class are not slaves, they are pretty much free except for having to give over their kids to the state at 14 and pay taxes and meet physical standards.
>>
>>7930427
Okay well, eating to much food doesn't just automatically make you fat lol.

You need an equilibrium between calorie intake and metabolism, for instance I know people that eat 2x as much as me but weigh 145lbs because their metabolism and job cause them to excessively work off calories and they can't gain weight.

Metabolism isn't a excuse for fatness by any means, but low metabolism just means you need to work harder to burn off ur calories instead of relying on ur body to do it for you
>>
>>7930170
Only about 1/32 of the width of an atom. But that's only if they gathered in one place and jumped up at the same time, if they could.
>>
Earth's mass: 10^25lbs
7 billion 400lb people: 2*10^12lbs

no
>>
>>7930321
Sorry to disappoint but with a message like that you'll never be in power.

People want the freedom to be failures. They don't want people like you governing everything they do.
>>
If you wanna be fat be fat. Don't shame them. Some people have bad Gene's. Some people eat to much. It does not help that fast food is everywhere in america and its cheap as fuck. But good healthy food is a little more money out of pocket. Plus you have to prepare it. Btw I am 6'1 145 lbs I'm a twig
>>
>>7931043
I don't shame anyone for being fat. I don't really care and am generally nice to everyone whose nice to me, but I won't sit by and deny the health risks of obesity either. If you choose to not eat healthy or exercise then fine but be aware of the risks. I won't judge any choice you make as long as you knew the risks and accepted them.

If will judge the shit out of you though if you're one of those fat acceptance tumblrtards though. I'm sorry you get so triggered by your own body that you have to put yourself in a state of constant denial by telling yourself that being a fat fuck is healthy. Go eat a fucking stick of butter.

They won't really have much of a choice. Democracy is a recipe for degeneracy. The people must be guided.
>>
>>7931065
And when people just don't do what you tell them?

You can conscript people in the military but if they are uncooperative and do not train or fight then what? All the compulsion in the wold cannot make someone do something if they REALLY do not want to do it.

Also, you'd be killed long before you reach power. That's a dangerous message and anyone whose had a taste of freedom would not let your dystopian society become the norm.
>>
>>7931088
People don't really want freedom, they want duty and meaning and to be a part of something larger than themselves. If people feel a sense of membership in the state, they will be fanatically loyal, and do whatever you ask of them.

You take power through democracy, not laying out your entire program such that it is obviously contrary to the constitutional basis of the government. Then you silence seditious voices, then you stay in power indefinitely. Then you build a star fleet and extend the empire to the stars.
>>
>>7931104
>they want duty and meaning and to be a part of something larger than themselves

You're right, they do. However people want to find that meaning on their own. We all want to forge our own path in life and create our own accomplishments. I sure as shit don't want to be part of a system where I'm told what I have to do even if the goal is noble. You've said that people will be trained and the top 15% will go to uni and others will learn trades or go into the military.

Well what if I get stuck with a trade or military service when I want to do engineering? I have no freedom to forge my own destiny and am unhappy as a result. Even if humanity as a whole is doing great things I will live a miserable existence because you told me that's the way it is. That's some fucking bullshit.

Alternatively, what if I want to go into a profession that you don't consider "good enough" for your society? I know people shit on music or arts people a lot for useless majors and they are majors that are weighed down with a lot of talent-less people but there is good music and good art and I would not want to live in a world totally devoid of it because the degree doesn't advance some knowledge base.
>>
>>7931130
I didn't say that people will have to continue in the government education system once they get out of high school, it will just be available and state funded if one chooses to continue. And it will give a good career and lead everyone to employment and security. You are free to forge your own destiny, the standards will be high for the professions though, as they are now.

The university system will be set up so that the professions receive close to how many new people they need in a given year. I think that college enrollment is too high, there are too many grads working retail and secretary jobs right now whose talents would be better used in a trade. I think the state's money should go to what benefits the state, so the state funded university system should be focused on the professions and basic science.

The post-high school programs will require the graduate to work for the state for 3-5 years, like the American service academies, then he is free to do what he wants.

Patriotic art and music will be state supported. I feel inclined to group those with the vocations, the student learns hands on with a practitioner and begins producing useful work on his own within 2 years.
>>
>>7931167
Your system is almost identical to how the Soviet Union was run from its inception until its dissolution. It did not work out well for them.
>>
>>7931180
But I wasn't the leader of the Soviet Union.

It works well in my mind.
>>
>>7931186
I'm sure that's what Stalin, Khrushchev, and Brezhnev all said and yet the Soviet planned economy was still a mess and people suffered.

People who lived in Warsaw pact countries preferred Western ideals and lifestyles to the Soviet model, if they didn't revolutions like the Hungarian Revolution, Prague Spring in Czechoslovakia, and Solidarity in Poland would have never taken hold and by extension, never been shut down forcefully by the state.

I'm slightly left leaning and all for a little bit of socialism but I'm also a libertarian and I value my freedom very much. I think it's reasonable to have state systems in place for the betterment of people but everything should be optional and nothing mandatory (aside from primary school which is literally just school no politics no military stuff). And while I think you should have some loyalty to your country for what services it provides you I do not like fanatical mandatory nationalism/patriotism as you propose.
>>
>>7930321
Where does that leave room for the humanities?
>>
>>7931217
Nobody needs that leftist dogma. It's a waste of time like art
>>
>>7931199
I am not some kind of commie, I think that most industry should be run by free enterprise. I think that the big natural resources should be nationalized, and healthcare and education should be provided by the state. The planning for how many workers to release from the education system should be done by the government in consultation with private industry.

>>7931217
Stripped down from their present state, only the very best students in the universities get the option to become scholars. Humanities scholarship supported by the state would definitely be on a much smaller scale than the physical sciences. And teaching at the high school and primary levels is a profession.
>>
>>7931236
Arts and humanities are not totally useless (well some shit like Gender studies is) but not everything. The major issue is work for those fields is not in high demand and there are far more graduates than there are jobs, additionally, particularly with arts, a lot of people grossly overestimate how much talent they actually have. They expect to be famous actors, musicians, writers, or artists but are shocked when they find out nobody wants to hire them because they suck. Arts and humanities are fields you REALLY have to love and be willing to work for shit pay and potentially deal with long periods of unemployment or wage slave work.

That said I'm happy loads of people are majoring in arts and humanities. I'm doing EE and I don't want competition, I want a guaranteed job with good pay and benefits and other options immediately available if my job turns out to be shit. The more people in STEM the worse I'm making it for myself.

>but muh advancing mankind
Don't give a shit, I want a secure future. I do want to say though, I'm not only in EE for the money, I do have a legitimate interest in Electronics as well and have my own workbench for home projects.

AKA they're not eating too much food you god damn retarded waste of space. What on Earth could 'too much food' possibly mean in this context other than portions which result in significant weight-gain? Were you expecting that poster to be referencing the all-agreed-upon, politically-correct amount of food that an individual should consume?
Christ, this isn't even the worst thread/response up right now.

Useless Plebs. You cannot understand the reason why my Authoritarian Regime is what you need and actually want. You dream of this fictional "freedom". but in reality you are not free, at least not till death. You will always be bound by the heavy weight of money, greed, false information, and most of all laziness.
The option of being lazy in this world is an absolute abomination. You will not suffer but you will work, you will provide, and you will be a productive member of society.
We as human race are dragged down by you liberalistic buffoons who think nothing but of your personal freedoms, by which in fact you do not possess.
Those are fantasies fed to you by yourself.
I like the ideas proposed, but you sir will not be the future world leader. I will.
You seem to have the right mindset. But in conversation with that opposition to your ideals, you did not stand up as a true Authoritarian.
People want someone, or something to follow.
Fascism and Communism are separated by this fact you uneducated basic fool. In the case of a Fascist state, the people follow a person. In communism, something, or the state.
Fuck the state. Its about the people, and the one true leader must stand tall and lead the world.
Yes it may be harsh to take in, but a Fascist regime is incorruptible. As the one leader is right in all ways, therefore he cannot be wrong. Shut your mouth filled with blind opposition.
Take in the truth. Be filled with Joy as the new world order shall not be a scary place, filled with tyrants and corruption. But in fact the starting point of the Golden Age of Humanity!!!!
