Also, black (?). The (lack of) representation of my race in my major fields of interest probably has something to do with my ease of admission.
I think a better measure that may help you find a correlation (or lack thereof) between standardized test scores and academic excellence would be something like number of publications, number of citations, or some other hard indicator of concrete contributions to academia. Grades and scores are fine, but they mean nothing if all you do is read textbooks without ever trying to contribute or improve what's in those books.
