My calculus class starts in about a week. I wanted to get a head start on studying, but I have no idea what to study. We don't get our syllabus or textbooks until the first day of class, so I don't even know what we're going to be covering over the semester.
What are some things that will most likely be covered in a calculus 1 class? Coming from precal, what should I study up on now, and what would I expect later?

Usually the class goes through limits, then derivatives and finally integrals. Don't skip straight to the shortcuts though, teachers test things like how to find a derivative from a limit. It's ok to learn the shorcuts before hand though as they are super helpful for checking your answers. This stuff will make more sense as you progress. Also look up professor Leonard's calc 1 playlist on youtube, best calc teacher I've had.

Yeah i'm 100% straight but he has a great bod, his lectures are nice for people who learn slowly (like me) because he goes over everything from the ground up, but if you find it too slow you can listen at 1.5 to 2 times the speed. Also I used the k key a lot to pause and the j and l keys to skip forward and back 10 seconds (super useful!)
