edward witten - unified all 5 superstring theories

christopher langan - came up with cognitive theoretic model of the universe

Thanks.
The latter is obv smarter than most of the others. I'd only rank Barnett and Einstein above him. Clock boy might be on par with him, not sure tho.

Yeah, I mean how many 12-year-olds can solder a CPU? In fact, how many adults can do that? I'd bet my monthly allowance on that only a very small part of NASA's top engineers could at least begin to imagine how to perform such a feat in a real-life settings.

You're retarded. Calculus is pretty simple, now that it's known. The point is it first had to be discovered, that is why Newton is a genius. On top of that you have his work in optics, his other mathematical works and his of course his formulation of mechanics. That's also why Newton is better than Leibniz.

1. Terence Tao: Like Einstein a few of his mistakes does lead to interesting discoveries; especially in fields like Analytic Number Theory, Functional Analysis, and DE's. I've read some of Mochizuki's work and it's pretty good he's as gifted as Tao (perhaps unknowingly more?)

2. Mochizuki: The Japanese Mathematician that created his own field of mathematics to prove the abc conjecture. Other mathematicans are skeptical and are heavily readingthrough his papers; he is upset that they won't read 500 pages and are slow to catching up to his level. Seemingly, he is the only person in the world that understands the new maths he had developed.

3. Grigori Perelman: A Russian Jewish man that proved the poincare conjecture which played a huge part in differential geometry and topology; whom turned his prize and a million dollars. Money doesn't win his love, but loving maths/finding the conjecture his obsession to discover it; too bad having his foresight set on fame and money lead to his departure and him living with his mother. He is a natural genius as well.

4. Ramajuman: An Indian Mathematician that's known for being on the hardest working mathematics in the world. He sat down his desk and dabbled with a lot of numbers to discover his work in Number Theory. He is often praised by Tao with his great work ethic.

5. Isaac Newton: A co-founder and developer of calculus which he developed from trying to the gravity and the planet attraction problem. He's up there and will be forgotten for his true work.

6. Albert Einstein: A Jewish physicist that founded the photoelectric effect and special relativity. A lot of his mistakes did lead to interesting discoveries; nowadays some physicists and mathematician are founding some faults in his tensor formula. He isn't a big fan of Quantum Physics as well.

7. Jacob Barnett: A self proclaimed intellectual Autistic teen that's readily into DE's, Linear Algebra, and Quantum Physic.

>>
>>7732352
Jacob Barnett has some potential to do some good things in the mathematical physics world; if he could drop string theory, quantum field, and concentrate more on Condensed Matter Theory and Statistical Mechanics; maybe some other areas in statistics and linear algebra.

8. Ahmed the clock kid: Whom supposedly got an unfair arrest and unfairly sued some place for 15 million dollars. He's parents may have played into that greed. He has potential in electronics and engineering. Hopefully, someday he will get his resolve for some other way.

9. Christopher Langan: A self proclaimed highly intellectual genius with his IQ measuring at 190 whom supposedly lives in the south; he believes he could of achieved great things and very much seems out of touch in reality; very unrealistic. You can't take this man seriously, I've met idiots like this in maths, and physics course I wish they would go away. He deserved this bottom ranked for clearly being an idiot and he does not contribute much all to the science world. He'd make a great sci fi writer, but nothing else. We should stop mentioning him on /sci/.

>Obviously some plebby physics fag wrote this.

Terence Tao has won a fuckload of awards and does work in a fuckload of branches of mathematics. In a given field he doesn't have the level of intuition of a god tier specialist like Ramanujin with Number Theory, but he's still head and shoulders above his peers across the board.

Mochizuki isn't upset that people won't read his papers he often downplays them on the premise that he can't guarantee that IUTeich will lead to any more large fruitful endeavors. He also didn't create the branch of mathematics solely for the ABC conjecture, in his words:
>Although many individuals appear to be interested mainly in the numerical aspects of the inequality of the ABC Conjecture, in fact it is more natural to regard the theory that constitutes IUTeich as the main object of interest. That is to say, the inequality of the ABC Conjecture is best understood as simply being one barometer of the depth of the mathematical content of the theory
There are a small handful of people who understand his work now and they are in the process of trimming it down to the essentials and writing a survey paper that covers the core content (much of the material in Mochizuki's earlier publications was not only non-trivial but it didn't end up being useful or it ended up being way too generalized, so it's stayed around as theoretical cruft).

(cont.)
>>
>>7732490

Perelman built on theory that another mathematician was already working on as a plan to proving the Poincare conjecture. He attended talks by the other guy describing unpublished work and wanted the other guy to also get credit. The real problem was that Yau (as in Calabi-Yau manifold) who was one of the people put in charge of reviewing Perelman's proof found a flaw in the proof and tasked his team of research students with fixing the proof. Yau then coauthored a paper with his research team and stole the credit for the proof within the mathematical community (though Perelman was still in line to receive the prize). The whole thing pissed off Perelman, the fact that he wanted to credit a guy who had spent years developing theory leading up to this but instead the guy who was put in charge of checking his proof ended up stealing credit for himself. He turned down the prize and left because "fuck the mathematical community". Yau also tried suing newspapers for publishing interviews where Perelman talks about this.

Ramanujin wasn't just really hard working and entirely self educated but he had amazing intuition for number theory. He was also depressed from having left his wife behind, not having access to vegetarian food which he often had to prepare in his office between math, and being treated as a second class citizen in England (due to being an aboriginal subject of a British Colony). After making a lot of totally insane breakthroughs in number theory (that seemed to come out of nowhere) he quit mathematics and moved back home with his wife.

Archimedes developed calculus with infinitesimals 2000 years before Newton, except Archimedes understood that infinitesimals were bullshit and thus only published his research as intuition but not legit math. Newton a shit.

0. VON FUCKING NEUMANN
1.Ramanujan/Newton (Newton was probably a lot higher in IQ than people realize, because his most brilliant achievements (calculus and modern physics) required creativity more than brainpower, however he did a lot of work in mathematics besides calculus that was overshadowed that seemed to require a lot of brawn (some of the work he published under pseudonyms was immediately recognized as his because no one else had the pure mental force to do it.)
2.Terry Tao
3.Langam (and maybe Barnett- I don't know enough to rank him)
.Since someone complained that there are no women in this list Noether- would probably be somewhere between 3 and 4
4.Mochizuki//Perelman/Witten (probably in that order)
5.Einstein (I'd guess still around 160)
Einstein ranking lower on the list doesn't mean he's a lesser genius.
Obviously when we stop comparing their Brain Specs and start talking about the things that matter the most Einstein will rank higher than nearly anyone. Leibniz would also probably rank pretty low on the list- which shows IQ is just one factor amongst many.

>>

Moore's law and the Flynn effect will both come to an end, you deluded pop sci kid. Due to limited resources technology cannot eternally grow exponentially. And due to the current rise of anti-intellectualism in our society, we can expect the next generations to be significantly dumber. Stupid people are reproducing all the time while intelligent people are excluded from reproduction, being despised as "boring nerds". Academic ambitions are frowned upon and our society values actors and musicians - idols of anti-intellectualism - more than scientists and engineers. Every year the school curricula is dumbed down further and further, with an emphasis on teaching less and less STEM contents.

>But the people in Newton era wasnt like monkeys.

I take the estimations more seriously than IQ tests, primarily because of the fact that are deduced from their actual work throughout several fields instead of a series of logic/linguistic tests that determine the 'potential' of success in academic tasks.

It takes a lot more than basic literacy to formulate math and physics that wasn't there at the time. Of course, once people see the solution everyone claim 'it was obvious, everyone could do that' despite of being unable do it themselves.

>The people in his time were fucking retarded.

Lol, it was dependent on very few people who contributed to it. Not comparable to today's globally connected scientific community.

There is still a long time before we hit the computational limit.
>>
>>7733864
Because calculus wasn´t newton´s only contribution... lol. And i think calculus was leibniz´s contribution mostly.

didn't someone have a predicted IQ of 250-300.

20-40 years by some predictions, total upper limit is 600 years.
>>
>>7733919
Yeah.600 is about right.
>>
>>7733919
lol u wot m8???? before we become a type 4 civilization (universal) millions of years must pass, not 600 lol what a retard.

underageb& pls go
>>
>>7733947
lol pls use arguments, before we can substract energy from black holes, make computers with size from planets and develop warp system thousands of years must pass, not "600" you are too positivistic.
>>
>>7733945
What? I'm saying that in 600 years if mores laws continues as predicted we will reach a limited of computing power dictated by entropy. Meaning if we don't have the computing power then we never will
>>
stop with IQ, that's stupid
>>
>>7733964
What about substracting energy from black holes and warp drive, we should do it in 600 years too?

I'm a boy and I think that you are fucking autistic for having to begin every single one of your posts with your gender.

Why do women do this? Why does every woman feel the need to start their post with
>btw I'm a grill!
is it for attention? Is it because you think that you are cool because you are a girl in a supposed 'boys' club. News flash, you are not special.

At least you are not a tripfag, I'll give you that.

Anon. You know that to make that conclusion, you had to imagine him sucking at least one dick, if not your own.

Everyone knows you, no matter how limited the extent, imagined him sucking dick.
>>
>>7734948
Dear sir or madam.

In response to your earlier message pertaining to the inner workings of my mind, in particular the realms of sexual fantasy, I can naught but snort derisively at your remarks.
Firstly, I fully acknowledge that I did indeed conceive the image of his lips wrapped around the girth of my member, of which there is plenty I can assure you, however this is beside the point as there is nothing wrong in receiving fellatio, as you imply. In fact it is the one performing the fellatio, to apply the vernacular "giving head", who is frowned upon by society, especially so if the person in question is male.
Secondly, I should like to point out, applying your logic, that in order to call me out on my sexual deviancy, you yourself have had to trace my thought patterns, calling into your own imagination the scenery which you describe. I might go as far as to assume, that you have not only imagined the boy sucking a dick, but my dick. Perhaps, in your perverse inner world we have gone "all the way"? I should point out that this makes you what the pornographic profession labels as, a "voyeur". Although I am flattered, I do also feel obliged to ask, what other degenerate deeds might you have envisioned he and I indulging in? Does he deepthroat my entire length? Does he maintain eye contact? Perchance he swallows or perhaps he prefers to receive my generous bounties of nervous fluid all over his bespectacled face? No one knows but You alone.

In conclusion, as per your own words I can only declare, that
>Everyone knows you, no matter how limited the extent, imagined him sucking dick.

Yours sincerely, >>7734935.

I more or less just built a rough conceptual understanding of their lips, which involves mostly geometry and my understanding of what lips are, how they're structured, what they're composed of, etc. It mostly fills in automatically.

What was then generated was a flickering spatial idea of this thing wrapping around a rounded cone shape. Their picture, as the other anon posted, flashed through my head a few times. Most of my thoughts were occupied with how gosh darn clever I must be, constructing that post. And then, what you might say in response. I hit "post", kept scrolling, and largely forgot about the whole matter. The recollection however was swift upon glancing over your prompt reply.

Fortunately you have matched my cleverness tenfold. I yield to your raw intellect, fine sir, and wish you an enjoyable remainder of your current wake cycle.

Those are the most popular, but far away of being the most intelligence, Einstein IQ is even low for a nobel laurete.
