Reminder that controls engineering is best engineering.

You will find no disagreement with me. Arguably the most useful modern engineering developed.
A pity it's being formalised and raped of it's virgin beauty.
What about mechatronics mang?
Railroad engineering is clearly the best

why not call it cybernetics
controls engineering sounds so mundane

MECHAS UNITE!
you a mecha?

Oh yeah man. I am amateur engineer (i.e make RC aircraft and shit out of my basement) and control engineering is what I excel at. There is so much mechanical stuff out there made by the big boys that is not so useful purely because it's hard to control. Hydraulics on a robot for example. And it's so accessible as well, no arcane fluid theories just code servos.
If I ever decide to study this formally what course do I take? Mechatronics?

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as controls engineering, is in fact, Systems/Controls engineering or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Controls + Systems engineering. .
Daily reminder than nuclear engineering is the one true master race.

>spouting memes
Controls engineering is legitimately cool, though.
>>7692872
>this isnt cool
>>7692947
>this is somehow cooler
>>7692953
>not even a triple turbine super cryo plant
are you even trying bro
WTF even is systems engineering. What kinda systems you dumb nigga
>>7692953
>cooling tower
obviously cooler
idiot
>>7692953
>implying that's not what nuclear engineers are going to be forced to work on
>implying they do anything but keep old and deteriorating nuclear powerplants from blowing up
It's a dead field.
>>7691855
>controls engineering
memery
engineering physics god tier
I'm about to finish my only controls course and I have no idea how/when to apply any of this stuff.
