Aside from the obvious physical differences, even the brains of the sexes work differently on a fundamental level. So it's likely the behaviour of genders is to a large extent a phenomenological manifestation of genetics that is not only based on physical differences and society. This is obviously not decisive however, future studies will show the truth, but it's more reasonable to say than to assume otherwise based on zero evidence.
