so like days ago i said i'd do a thread for chicken paprikash but i never did. i posted the OP image and ppl didn't like it. i made this today and i think it's actually probably a pretty decent recipe but i bought the unevenly sized "PAPER THIN" (which means literal holes through them) pork chops when i should have just went with the thin cut and maybe flattened them a bit under plastic.
but anyway on the right is pork chops stuffed with chopped black grapes and brie (pretty good flavor combination btw), and then in the middle mushrooms and shallots, and lima beans on the left.
idk... i feel like this is shit but i usually cook late so this was the first day in a while i could when the sun was out so i am obligated to post this anyway.
u wanna tie up the chops w/ twine after rolling them and this is actually way easier with chicken breasts if u want to go that route. sear them in a pan, and then bake them for a few minutes.. let them rest, cut the twine and slice. make a basic pan sauce or whatever while the meat is resting. stuff w/ whatever u want. spinach and red onions and feta cheese is a good combination for chicken breasts.
would anyone eet this?
and obligatory salad. just spring mix, tomato, some grapes, raspberry wine vinegar and olive oil for the dressing.
ppl were asking if i'm doing a thanksgiving thread. nah. i'm supposed to visit my mom and i bought a ham for here and i'll prob make mashed potatoes and gravy if ppl can figure out how to reheat it and deviled eggs but basically i'm not even going to be home most of thanksgiving so whatever.

I make a lot of vegetable soups from mixed canned vegetables together.
Add in some spices and simmer for a long time.
