The mask you see in the linked picture is an israeli gasmask. I don't know the exact name, but you'll find it and some variations, if you look for "israeli gasmask" on google.
The russian gasmask you might be referring to could be the soviet m41 or gp-5. There were many variants of this mask in the former soviet union. It looks similar to the israeli one but has a full rubber body. I have them both, and I like them both. The israeli has a more feminine look, that's why my gf likes to wear it.

The S10's pretty comfortable even over a hood, and the large eyes are always a good shout.
This pic has the Canadian C3 (also known as the Danish M69) minus the side respirator, it's even more comfortable than the S10 IMO, both are fantasic Gas Masks, and anyone looking to make a start would be well placed to grab one or both.
