There are meds that can help with it. I take gabapentin (1800 mg/day). I don't have anxiety anymore, my social anxiety is gone too but that was mostly because I started going out in the world and talking to people.
If I miss my dose of gabapentin I get REALLY anxious, so it's a blessing and a curse. It's better than being anxious literally 24/7 and having panic attacks though IMO

Therapist diagnosed me with anxiety and help give me the tools needed to deal with it. Depression I feel is manageable. I'm probably in the autism spectrum but don't really explore that idea or blame it for my failures.
