Any other guys who find it far easier to be friends with girls?
I should note I'm in the 12th grade so maybe things change after high school.
Either way, I have never been really enjoyed 'guy stuff' such as sports, talking about girls and their appearance, general dick measuring that sometimes occurs (not literal), and so on. I do have quite a bit of guy friends too but I'm not as close with them as with some of my girl friends. (Awkward term to use, not be be confused with girlfriends ;D)
I think one of the reasons is that my sense of humour is more appealing to girls? I am usually the centre of attention and enjoy making jokes, stories etc. I also have a twitter account where I regularly post stupid jokes and I'd say about 80% of my followers are girls.
I find girls are more open to talk about some issues that guys usually dodge, mostly emotional ones. If I went through a break up I'm confident I would feel better after talking to one of my female friends rather than male.
A small perk is that girls are quite likely to be better wing women, because they have predominantly girl friends themselves that they can introduce to you, and are far more likely to compliment your hairstyle, clothes or whatever, so you know what works. What's also great is the very subtle and casual flirting. Even if I'm not at all romantically interested in her, making a girl laugh or getting a compliment from a girl still feels way better than from a guy.
Maybe I should have mentioned earlier I'm pretty sure I'm not gay, I've had a girlfriend (and it was sort of a 'set up' by a girl friend of mine).
And if you can't relate to me at all, do you know other guys like me? What are they like and how do you think other guys view them?
