>one who knows nothing, can understand, nothing
what did he mean by this?

Literally if you know 'nothing' then you also 'understand nothing'. If its a literal-experiential-physical-thing-or-concept that can be known; then if you know it you would likely understand it.
Conversely, he's definitely not speaking metaphysically. Nobody is capable of knowing absolute nothing; because if it were possible you would be brain dead or in a coma. Then we'd just assume you'd have no way to convey that you know nothing and understand nothing.

>what did he mean by this?
I don't know.
>>28343127
The "nothing" that is "understood" isn't equal to 0 or absolute dumbness but rather a 100% open mind. To "understand nothing" is not the same as "to not understand anything" but rather "adding "nothing" to the list of things that you understand."
To understand nothing is no easy task. It requires a huge amout of letting go of who you thought you were. Imagine the most importnat thing to you. Imagine releasing it, never to have it again. Are you upset? Then you don't "understand nothing."
To understand nothing gives you absolute fluidity of self.

Here's the full quote:
>This world has been connected. Tied to the darkness... soon to be completely eclipsed. There is so very much to learn. You understand so little... A meaningless effort. One who knows nothing can understand nothing.
He's literally saying that Sora is an idiot.

Sora is very clearly an idiot.
It doesn't make the quote any less valid.
If you have experienced what 'Nothing' is then you can understand what 'Nothing' really means.
