I see so many robots who seem to be romantic and such towards women both real and 2d.
And I'm ok with that.
My question is why do so many hope for marriage? I know it's a dream that has lasted for centuries and it seems binding and all but...well, I hate to be one of those types but it's [current year]. Divorce rates are obscenely high and any MRA can quote direct studies to how women aren't satisfied or how single mothers are glorified and such.
To those who dream of marriage...why marry? It sucks but whatever importance or value marriage had is gone if it's not a shell of it's former self.

not in my third world shit hole, here you still can beat your wife if you want, there's no problem with feminist ideas.
I don't know man, divorce rates in my church are still pretty low.
Furthermore marrying an American girl is my only way of moving over there so I really have little choice (but as I said, I don't mind all that much).

I kinda wish I lived there, all things considered. Feminism is a plague from the job market to education.
The reason I asked is because I see no value in it. No principle to hold up because I imagine it'll hurt me exponentially more than it'd ever help or even be worth. And if I have any kids with her? Good God, I'll have to be the perfect dad to even stand a chance.
I'm glad there are more classical romantic types out there, I just can't wrap the idea around my own head. Not with how US society is right now.

Got myself a nice third world shithole bf. He treats me like the whore in need of strict discipline that I am. Highly recommended

It's not like the right women isn't out there though. The rates don't mean it's all over, still a nice chunk of good women.
