Toriyama has done nice things in the past. But he is a total idiot and needs to at least be teamed up with a team of talented writers. He clearly has no clue what to do with DB now, and Super has just been a trainwreck.

Nobody remembers anything from Other World. It's filler and doesn't have anybody learning to drive cars.
There was one fight in the adult tournament for S7, and it was fucking Videl. Everyone that mattered left.

It's wildly inconsistent. The entire BoG arc in Super was worse than the movie until Goku went SSG. Then it was immensely better than the movie.
RoF sucked just as much in Super as the movie did.
U6 arc was boring until Goku fought Hit. SSB w/ Kiaoken x10 was a really high moment.
