You see this? I should be wanting to play this right now. These games have been my some of my favorite games going back to the first game called Demon's Souls. Yet here I am not really caring that I haven't played this yet.
I have lost so much interest in gaming. I haven't played a game in many months now. Does anyone else here know this feel? Explain why you have lost interest in gaming.

Well yes desu friend. It's a mixture of a few things why I have lost so much interest in gaming.
Happens when you get older. Once you start playing it you realize how nice it is.
Problem is, in my opinion, it's a pain to start new games. It's not just like "I've got 10 minutes lets do a few races in Mario Kart". It's:
>turn on ps4, about a minute
>put in game
>game needs to install
>THEN needs to update
>company logos for fucking half an hour
>finally start the game
>have to customize your character, another 10 or so minutes--more if you're an autist
>opening cutscene kinda cool
>a tutorial area you have to slog through before you finally have some fun around
>first boss
It just takes hours to start games these days. And that's just for the ps4. I got it on PC so I had to download it for like 2 days.
I started it last night and it's pretty good so far. Going to do some more later. Once you start it becomes hard to put it down.
if you're addicted to 4chan and porn 24/7 your attention span will get so destroyed you will be too lazy to play a vidya game.
you just have to quit one or more of those things for a little bit

Well a few years ago I didn't feel this way. I turned 27 last month. I feel this is part of the reason I have lost interest. I was actually dreading my birthday since the beginning of this year. I don't know why 27 of all years is the one for me. It just seems like this current age for me it's like something snapped. It's a milestone yet it shouldn't be. When people think milestone they think 10, 20, 25, 30, etc. Not 27 if you know what I mean.
I don't know why though. Last year I had so much more interest in games. Although yes I do admit that over the years I have been playing less and less. At 18 I would be playing nearly all day. 21-24 I would say more a less the same thing honestly. 25-26 there was a noticeable change for me in regards to wanting to play but this year is ridiculous.
Imagine a line graph showing my interest, play time and this year basically goes straight down. Literally a straight line down.

They're depressing games. You traipse around abadonded castles and decrepit shitholes full of hostile monsters in total silence for 1 hour until you eventually come towards the area boss. Then, unless you're a veteran of the series, or naturally talented at video games, you'll most likely die more than 5 times to every boss whilst also having to simultaneously take the 10 minute grueling walk back every time you die.The game is an excercise on willpower and the futility of everything.

To be fair there's been so many souls games, it's easy to get burnt out from them.
I'm someone who played them all from release, including demons souls/bb. There's been like 5 games in 7 years, plus the dlc that brings you back to playing them again a few months later. I still enjoy them but they aren't games I'm too hyped for, I know what they are now and the charm has gone.
I wouldn't say you've lost interest in gaming, you could be burnt out from souls games.
