Here's what you'd have to work on with the characters

>A NEET who would the mascot, kind of like Barney or Sheldon are, who always shouts catchphrases and shitpost all day
>A Chad who's not big on books and somewhat of a dick, but is still a freinds of the three other protags
>A Stacy who is Wagie's GF and feels pity on him, yet never really cheats on him.
>All of them live together for a reason you guys can come up with.

So it's not based of the robot culture but on the "dank memes". Those two are seperate cultures here on /r9k/. At first i was hoping for a robot show when i saw your thread.
>wagie is the everyman, the foil to the others. Should be as generic as possible, like most foils are. Not especially attractive or ugly, decent job, but nothing huge. Mostly just wants to get through life. The voice of reason, but still makes dumb mistakes.
>NEET used to be one of wagie's best friends, a high school dropout who had to move in with wagie because his parents decided to retire to Florida and he had nowhere else to go. Absolutely hates Stacy, and doesn't get along with Chad anymore, but it never goes beyond smarmy insults and arguments over pedantic shit. Watches a lot of anime and can sometimes be heard defending it to Chad
>Chad was wagie's other best friend in high school, but they drifted apart after because Chad got /fit/ and wagie focused on his studies. Likes to watch football and invites his Chad friends over to loudly watch it with him while making huge messes. This can be a point of contention with NEET who will want to watch anime or play video games but not be able to because the tv is in use and Chad & co are so loud. Living with wagie because the gym where he worked as a personal trainer closed down and he's terrible with money, so he never saved any money up. Works at a new gym that pays much less.
Stacy is Chad's sister and was living with wagie before NEET and Chad had to move in. Forever frustrated by wagie's refusal to kick out NEET and Chad, as well as them dragging wagie along for their stupid ideas. Chad annoys her despite being her brother and she finds NEEt disgusting. Secretly loves video games and will bond with NEET over them in one episode.
