And the prohibition on drawing creatures of Islam is well-known and documented, hence why the Islamic cultures never developed a tradition of art or sculpture, always adhering to geometric designs. Save for a few Persian codices (that were a remnant of Zoroastrian influence) depicting humans, there are no illustrations of humans or animals or even plants in Islamic cultures.
