I was just reading this fantasy novel, Blade of Tyshalle. Great novel, by the way. One of the characters is trying to explain how a spell can foil the evil government's privacy snooping for an email attachment, and his explanation is "A spell is what it does."
The same thing is true about intelligence. How are you a "borderline genius" when your biggest accomplishment is "inventing" a particularly not creative masturbation game?

Intelligence often causes organisms to display a more diverse range of behavior than their unintelligent counterparts. The fact that OP even did something as unique as what he did points to his intelligence, in some way. Doesn't mean it itself is intelligent, but it's definitely indicative of an intelligent mindset.
