Go gently into that good night, anon. We'll meet you on the other end.
hey you guys know how it's a cliche that "everyone dies alone" because even if there are people around you when you die, the only one "passing on" is you, you're going alone, dying alone even if you're surrounded by people.
but then isn't it also true that if everyone dies alone, if every single person shares that experience with us, then doesn't that make us all closer than we could possibly be simply by occupying a nearby chunk of space? Everyone will share the experience of dying alone, everyone will share that ultimate loneliness, and ultimately that brings us together, brings us together so close we're almost one.*rips bong*

Want to know what's even more wild than the fact that everyone will share the experience of dying?Everyone shares the experience of existing.*tokes spliff*[/spoiler[

Of course I cannot speak from experience, but death is just the absence of every possible experience. It isn't light, it isn't dark, it isn't "nothing", it isn't heaven, it isn't hell.
Death only "exists" in the same way that shadows "exist". Shadows are merely spaces where less light is hitting a surface than around it, and death is merely a duration where the once highly organized patterns of life falter and begin to decay.
