I know a guy who lives on farm with his wife, and he owns a small business that he runs from home, and other than that, all he does is paint and play piano. Having free time is his top priority, not having lots of money. He comes off as a very intelligent person.

FWIW this technique helped me learn to tolerate beer: exhale through your nose while drinking and swallowing it. Of course the exhalation will stop when you swallow but by that time you've got it down. In theory this makes you taste the beer less, since smell is a huge component of flavor, and exhaling through the nose ensures the beer smell doesn't reach your olfactory receptors. It may be bullshit, but even if it was placebo it helped me go from gagging on beer at my first college parties to genuinely loving craft beer

I come from a working class family and I'm the first to go to uni. Not everyone has the luxury of a high paying job. I would love to graduate and walk into an 80k salary. I guess 200k is more than double that, but the cost and time needed to be a fully fledged doctor is quite tedious. I guess to each their own.

I usually didn't like alcohol that much. Tried some Bailey's with my sis, it was nice. Usually drank a cup on New Year's Eve with her. Later tried some lemon vodka, but it was 90% lemon juice, so I ech'd. Didn't like beer. Didn't like wine. One night I took a glass of wine and, somehow, it tasted like the whole universe and I couldn't stop drinking (getting the most shitfaced I've ever been). After that, I started liking alcohol more.
