>participation grade drops me from A to B+ because I don't show up to lecture
Why does uni do this to me
>required attendance, never go
>failed
shit
I hated participation and tutorials more than anything I have ever experienced in my life. I had to commute 3 hours a day, 1.5 each way, with fucking 3 vehicle switches (subway --> bus --> bus), sometimes at like 6AM meaning I'd have to get up at 5AM, just to make a stupid worthless fucking tutorial so I could get my awful piece of shit 10% participation grade. But I did it because suffering slight things like that is sometimes part of life and I care about my future.
Just because something is unfair or retarded or pointless doesn't mean you don't have to do it. Sometimes life is going to send a boss who shouldn't even have authority over you down the hall and have him plop a big project that isn't in your job description on your desk, and it will be stupid and unfair and you won't be able to do fuckall about it.
Just suck it up and go to class.

What exactly did you expect a "participation" grade to be about?
