Yeah, been to multiple inpatient facilities, residentials, and a stupid amount of outpatient programs. My parents were really into that stuff when I was a teen and I had a lot of problems.
Never been in special education.
I was diagnosed with almost anything at one point or another. Common ones were MDD, GAD, dysthmia, ADD, ANR, PTSD, buncha substance abuse diagnoses, I got ODD often when I started getting sent to residentials and acting out. I've tried almost every med available, I take no meds now because they're fucking awful. Overall, the whole mental health care industry is disgusting and I'd recommend staying out of it unless you have severe schizophrenia or something else that *requires* treatment.

It was really boring, but since I was in high-school I got stuck in the youth ward with a bunch of qt crazy girls my age.No, nothing happened.
Went to a locked youth ward for about a month when I was 18 after a year of being a NEET and a lifetime of severe anxiety. (I had previously seen a professional who in lieu of a diagnosis prescribed me with a harsh anti-psychotic and performed qigong during our sessions. He has since has his license revoked and is under investigation for manufacturing child pornography.) Half of the people there were fresh from juvie, one was schizophrenic, two had eating disorders, mix of others. Was diagnosed with social anxiety and MDD, given an SSRI, and tossed into a shitty day treatment program that catered to people with family driven issues and aspergers. The meds worked, but my father made me quit them cold turkey after just a couple of months, leading to withdrawal and regression of symptoms. Eventually went back on the medication, sorted out other issues without going back in anywhere.
I had to see someone recently for something unrelated and they suggested changing my diagnosis to GAD instead of SA. Outside of getting help for these issues I don't really care about the diagnosis. I'm going to an anxiety clinic in the new year.

I went to the child psych ward when I was a kid to test meds. I was also placed in behavioural class between grades 3-5 because I used to tell everyone to fuck off and got in trouble every day.

Also I've been to the psych ward twice both for at least one month, where everyone else got to leave after a few days because they didn't have anything severe like me. I was talking to the voice inside my head most of the time and looked and acted crazy as hell most of the time which was probably why it was so hard for me to leave

Dropped out, joined the Army, and got out after 4 and a half years on a medical discharge.
Tried taking meds after I got out but they made my quality of life far worse so Ive been tapering down since last December, Ive been off everything since late September. Honestly I feel and act way more normal now.
