Who else /boarding school/ here?

>Have no friends in your home town
>Constantly had your opinions stifled in the name of diversity
>Shit taste in clothes now because you were only exposed to Vineyard Vines and pastel beach shit
>Never went to parties because you lived on campus
>Deans and faculty were like gestapo, so you were never really exposed to sex or drugs like a normal kid
>Effectively missed out on the teenage experience, have no great memories as an adult, and went to college totally socially unexperienced

Holy fuck this. When I look back on what a fucking loser I was when I first went to university l can barely contain myself. Fuck boarding school. I mean I got a decent education, and an awesome accent, but seriously those first few years were terrible. I was so fucking cringey.

Married now, and a decent person but all the same boarding school is social suicide.

Weekly boarding is god tier, really happy that I did that.
