The answer depends on the person. Personally I workout regularly, can squat 2x bodyweight and run an 18min 5k and played college lacrosse, also I'm a computer engineer. However, I could care less about using those things to get a girl because that's not the kind of person I want to attract. Haven't had any luck yet because things just haven't work for whatever reason. I was on the track team, got sent to regionals for shot put, long jump, and 100m, won a spontaneous push up competition our gym teacher ran, and was always academically in the top three for serious classes (math, English, science, tech). Roughly 40% of my total tuition was paid for by scholarships.
I kissed exactly 0 girls in 8 years of high school + university. I remember half a dozen distinct instances where girls literally said "ew" out loud. When I was 14, I had to pay $25 while my parents were out for a hotel maid to suck my dick during our vacation to the Dominican Republic. Paying for sex is the only way I can get it.
If you're terminally ugly, or deformed, or defective, which many people here are, you are fucked. Period. No girl gives a shit about how strong or smart you are at that point. I strongly doubt they give a shit about your personality, either. They care far more about your face and your social ranking in the hierarchy (which is largely based off charisma) than they care about you being ripped or having a PhD. Not him but I had a similar role on my track team. I was good at everything but best at nothing... like, strong, fast, can jump and throw, hurdles, no problem. High jump and >800m races were my weak points though. Heavy and high powered like a tank. I ran tons of relays and substituted for people that had other events. My other sport was wrestling. The football coach really wanted me as a running back but I was always too autistic for team sports.
