So its 7:50 AM where I live. The stereotypical robot goes to bed no earlier than 3 and sleeps til at least 11 but I'm not like that and I am sure others are early risers too.
Do you have any morning rituals? Aside from basic hygiene stuff, anything you do most mornings that you enjoy?
I am usually up between 7 and 8. I put on NPR or the local campus radio and make a mug of (usually green) tea. I'll sit and sip my tea and stare at the wall. Sometimes I read. I usually read at night but I find that engaging my imagination early has a positive effect on my focus and imagination throughout the day. I have a hard time with nonfiction in the AM but novels are fun.
Around 8 or 830 I make a smoothie and then get on with my day. I never work before 11am so I can do this pretty much every day.

Not a story, bro. More of a broad summary of a general pattern of behavior.

I feel 100x worse when I sleep past like 10. Especially in the winter because the says are so short, it just aggravates my depression.
