Calories out varies with your metabolism though. It can massively slow down while you fast.

well, actually raw foods are never bland, just find what you like. but it's probably impossible to go overboard with them. everyone likes apples right? so for example try to eat only apples for lunch. can you eat more than 5? you will enjoy every bite if the apple is good but since it's not calorically dense you won't be able to stuff yourself much. but if you eat not enough you can get hungry really quick, you need to find the balance yourself and move towards whole plant foods gradually.

I currently don't eat much raw food as I used to eat, cuz meals take time to eat (but 0 cooking time at least) and it can be expensive. I eat mostly sweat potatoes currently (like two of my meals sweet potatoes mostly). It's really satisfying. for example if I were eating mcdonalds I could eat 3000 cal in one sitting but it's impossible to do that with potatoes. just find a starch or fruit staple you enjoy eating.

also everything counts. for example you can get brown rice instead of white. It's basically the same thing but brown rice has an outer shell. Since that shell has fiber you get satisfied easier also it's more nutritious.

So what I am trying to say is calories in calories out maybe correct in theory but human body does not work like that.

that's not true at all. fat doesn't weight very much and it's not the only tissue that can be catabolized. honestly telling somebody to just eat less is probably going to make them crash and either get serious health problems or yo-yo to an even higher body fat percentage.

Yeah, fuck you too, you were probably never able to run half a marathon in 2.5 hrs over steep hills. Well, I could and yet the last 10 kilos stayed with me for almost 3 years now. Just trying to gain a shitload of muscle to get rid of it instead of cardio.

what really matters is MASS in MASS out AND the amount of mass your body puts out is variable and depends on genes, diet, and exercise

If you have the genes/epigenetic predisposition to be fat, when you stop eating as much, the body LOWERS the metabolism, and conserves as much mass as it can because it thinks you are in a famine or some shit and ironically this makes your body more desperate to build/hold on to fat. If you add cardio on to this and keep the diet low for an extended period of time, eventually the body will realize that it is more beneficial to lose the weight once you prove to it that you will get enough to eat without actually starving and have used up your fat storage.

If you have a skinny genetic/epigenetic predisposition, your body will RAISE the metabolism the more you eat and the more you exercise to try to unnecessarily burn off and get rid of as much mass as possible because it doesn't want you to have mass on you. If you continually force it to acknowledge it needs some muscle mass by regular exercise/strength training, it will start to lower metabolism enough to allow you to build muscle mass if you eat enough to counter out the already high base metabolism.

If you are a mesomorph, your body will raise or lower your metabolism to either burn fat and/or save mass and convert it to muscle in order to build/preserve muscle regardless of your diet as long as it is somewhat within normal calorie range, especially more so if you do strength training.

Have you tried the keto diet? It looks pretty interesting and ive heard its great for losing weight. Essentially you cut out all carbs and eat a bunch of protein. If I were trying to lose weight id give it a try at least for a month or two.

Yeah, I actually tried that. It's not inefficient, not at all. But I get gas from it and what's more I think my body odor changed. I liked the way I smelled to myself less, whoch sounds weird.
The biggest minus in my book was, though, that I wasn't hungry after eating a meal, but all the satisfaction from eating just goes away. I'd go for 80/20 or 70/30 protein only diets but 100 percent meat/protein are just not for me. I know I couldnt pull through for extended periods of time after having tried it for a week. It might be right for you though, seeing everybody's different.
