It always makes me ponder: why do wagecucks value money more than free time? I'd rather have the free time than wasting away my life slaving to make someone else richer.
>>
It's because they get their self worth from their jobs. They think they're good or meaningful or hardworking because their bosses pat them on their backs, and because all their friends and the people around them tell them they're great for being wageslaves.

>be a NEET
>use all my free time in feeling depressed and anxious
>no fucking money at all

Yet in the end I know that this fate is still better than succumbing to wageslavery. I can't and don't want to be anything else.
>>
>>29752688
Get out and do stuff. Life is going to pass you right on by if you just let it. There's way too much out there for you to experience to let it all go. And a lot of things you don't need money for, despite what wagecucks say. I've made lots of good running friends just by hitting nature trails.
>>
>>29752720
I'm too anxious to even leave the house or go to the doctor.
>>
Because they fell for the capitalism meme. Oh look, I have more money than you! I'm more successful at this money game than you! I can buy shitty material goods like the good goy I am!
>>
>>29752747
It goes even deeper than that. Everyone is taught to value personal traits that make them excellent wageslaves too (being "hard working", being organized, being polite etc.) even if the traits don't really seem to warrant any intrinsic worth. It takes an unimaginable amount of critical thinking to shake off the notion that you're not a shitty person if you're a NEET.
>>
Most people don't really have hobbies. And if they do they usually aren't very passionate about it.

At the same time, for normies, they don't want to be a piece of shit loser. They know having no job will make everyone think they are a loser, which gives them incentive to just go with it.

As a man who has been lying about going to college since he has been out of highschool, I don't understand it. I love my free time. I've worked a few pretty ok jobs, they all made me miserable.

I can't be ok with spending MOST of my waking hours doing something I only tolerate. That is obviously a very narrow sighted way to feel, but if there is an out, I will take it.

I'll probably just fake being mentally ill or something. There is a lot of fun shit to do, I don't want a job.
>>
>>29752688

>Be wagecuck.
>Tight schedule
>book all of my free time with activities
>Fuck the "too tired to do (x)" meme. Never too tired to enjoy myself.
>Find the time to, litterally, do everything I want to do.
>Kickboxing 2 to 3 times a week with my sister
>Work a very manual job where I learn various crafts that I have the opportunity to improve upon on the day to day at the job.
>Live on my own
>Ultimately learn a lot about myself, where my strenghts and weaknesses lies and how to manage my life and improve upon my shortcomings.
>Ultimately become a better person in the process.

Life is not something which requires slavery to the capitalist system, but you have to be a fool to believe that living doesn't involve any type of effort from your part. Right now you enjoy a luxury that you may lose, one day and, for your sake, I hope you don't. Because of this conveniently broekn system, you enjoy the fruit of the people's labor. Without it you'd be forced to fend for yourself.

I don't like the capitalist wage slavery system, but since I live off from it, I might as well find a way to use it as a means to discover more about myself and seek a better life. You, on the other hand, should not stand from such a pedestal of superiority. You should be grateful that this sytem exist and that you can have the luxury of existing without having to give something in return. It is a gift. Cherish it.

Also, I know we may not stand on equal grounds on this matter, about the fact that you think working a job is foolish, but I chose where I am in my life and I accept my outcomes gladly while trying to make the most out of them. I just want to let you know that, if by working a slave job, I can allow some people like you to enjoy their lives without having to subject themselves to the same slavery, then I gladly do it. You can laugh all you want at me and how you think I'm a cuck and that you're far better than me, but remember that I, in a small part, do it for you.

wage cucks dont want to be wagecucks but they dont know how to be neets

stop bullying them

still I dont understand why if they hate work so much they accept and sometimes even ASK for more hours or take someone elses shift

if I was a wagecuck I would only work enough to pay for living expenses and food, thats like 3 days a week with minimum wage in the us (no car so you dont pay for car insurance nor gas, no phone bill, and no gf)
>>
>>29753107
Life with the bare minimum is miserable.

I work a great job. A small company, they pay me well and pay for not just my gas as a work expense but $75 free gas every month. I can have more than that because I work for it.

As someone who has just begun my career in wagecuckholdery, I already wish I would have stayed a pot-smoking degenerate delivery driver. I worked half the hours I do now and never had to get up early, and I still made enough money to pay all my bills so long as i budgeted properly, ie. don't spend all my money on stupid bullshit. It was fairly easy to do. Now I spend equal amounts of my week days at work and at home, and all I do when I'm at home and on the weekends is dread going back to work.
My parents keep telling me that I'll like it when I have a "nice place" and "nice things." I don't get it. The "shitty" plates, pots, pans, silverware, furniture, etc. from the thrift store/garage sale/garbage can all do exactly the same thing as the new expensive bullshit they buy every couple of years. How have these people convinced themselves that they need new things just for the sake of buying new things? I think they have too much money and too little time on their hands. They don't want to do anything; they just want to buy things, put them in a box, and think about all the things they have waiting for them when they get home from work.
>>
>>29753107
Most "career" type jobs don't seem to offer part-time positions. The HR people who have gone to school or received other training for it have been indoctrinated to think that people who don't work full time are drug addicts or crazy people. Whenever I ask at an interview about working part time, the reactions range from laughter to startled disbelief. I'm fairly certain just asking about it has lost me at least one job. So if you have to work, you either go full-wagecuck or you have to work shitty low-paying part time jobs.

Have you been reading Steve Pavlina, op?

http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2006/07/10-reasons-you-should-never-get-a-job/

>Getting a job and trading your time for money may seem like a good idea. There's only one problem with it. It's stupid! It's the stupidest way you can possibly generate income! This is truly income for dummies.

>Why is getting a job so dumb? Because you only get paid when you're working. Don't you see a problem with that, or have you been so thoroughly brainwashed into thinking it's reasonable and intelligent to only earn income when you're working? Have you never considered that it might be better to be paid even when you're not working? Who taught you that you could only earn income while working? Some other brainwashed employee perhaps?

Opportunity cost. Time is money.

Money lets you enjoy your free time better.

You need money for comfy housing, internet, gas, food, and whatever you want/need really.

Plus if you're a consumercuck you're less inclined to waste money when you occupy your spare time with some sort of timely obligation.

No, money lets you purchase more useless commodities you've been brainwashed to desire.

If you can access a public library, you have access to the greatest literary treasures of the human species.

Meeting your basic needs for existence and enjoying worthwhile pursuits is inexpensive.

Well first of all not everyone has family that is able or willing to support them, and even if they do, they won't be around forever.

But anyway for a lot of people, having free time means nothing if you have no money and in turn no friends. There's always a balance that people try to find. Sometimes people work harder for early retirement or whatever.

Because it's not free time, it's wasted time.

"free time" is like chocolate cake, let's say. Chocolate cake is delicious when you have a slice or two at the end of a healthy meal.

What if you now had to eat chocolate cake for every meal, every day? I'm sure that it would be great... for a while... but then sooner rather than later you appreciate it less and less, and eventually you start to dread it, you even come to hate it and wish for ANYTHING besides another tasteless slice of shit cake.

Even people who are retired, who have worked most of their lives, are always doing volunteer work (unpaid work) because they know that doing nothing is just waiting for death.

>>29753844
This is the best answer ITT

>If you can access a public library, you have access to the greatest literary treasures of the human species.

You have a limited access to a time-restrained selection of some literature. Not all libraries are the same.

How would you define "worthwhile pursuits" when you have a fear of money? Sitting around reading college-level intro to philosophy books?
>>
>>29754413

Shouldn't you be "expanding your mind right now" with all your free time? Cos right now it seems like you're pretending to be a socially stunted man-imp on a board for people with autism. Feel free to correct me but I've never assumed those two activities would go hand in hand.

My dream job is being a stay at home dad. Too bad it will never happen because there are so few women willing to be in such an arrangement.

I've had 3 female friends at this point who were all "girl power" and such through their teens and early 20s. They were swearing they'd never have kids because it would tie them down.

Then they got pregnant and all the sudden it was "the right time", but they were still swearing they were going to split responsibilities evenly with their boyfriend/husband and continue to work as much as him.

Then they had their baby, and they got that month leave from work to recover, and they realized how fucking amazing it was to spend all day at home taking care of the most important thing in the world to them, and how much it hurt to be away from them for even a couple hours.

Not a single one of them went back to work. Two of them had their boyfriend pick up extra work to make up the difference of them not working (the 3rd already made enough, but they had to start budgeting where they didn't before). I've spoken with them, asked if they were going to go back to work and they were almost offended I'd ask that question. How dare I belittle all the hard work they put in at home, taking care of a small child, making dinner 3 or 4 nights a week, sometimes sweeping the floor between episodes of some children's show or chatting with their girl friends.

Still though, I'd love to be a stay at home dad not because it would be easier than slaving away at a job I hate, but because I honestly just love being around kids (right now neices and nephews is all I have but love being around them, I imagine it would only be even more amazing having my own kid, teaching them stuff, watching them learn and grow up. Fuck that would be awesome.

My dad is a NEET

He's the biggest piece of garbage in my family/life. He hates himself and constantly fucks over those around him.

I just recently gave him one last chance to fix something. Today was the deadline for something important he had to do. He hasn't returned my calls.

His lazy, manipulative ass just lost the one person who still tried to love him back. He's fucked me and my family over for the last time.

NEETs die alone.

One of the happiest times of my life were during the summers between college. Didn't do shit. Had no friends, too lazy to get job, just sat at home and walked trails alone listening to music. I got a job this summer just so I could build a new PC, and I fucking hate it. I would give anything just to do nothing again for a while

That is true, but they also want people to mindlessly work for them as well. The NWO higher ups own most of the corporations that a wagie will work for. NEETS actually contribute less to the power structure of the NWO than wagies. We are too useless/stubborn to fit into their corporate pyramid hierarchy but they don't have the power to kill us off yet.

For myself, I had to split the difference between free time and quality of life. On one hand, sure I miss having all the time for myself that I wanted, but on the other hand I was miserable.

Bottom line, I couldn't continue justifying my lack of employment; while "NEET" rhymes with "eat," it doesn't provide nourishment.

Wageslave here.

I value my free time a great deal more than money, I just know that the things I enjoy cost money. That, and if I act a certain way (taking a bunch of sick days/not showing up to work) will get me fired.

I show up, work my 8 hours, and go home. If I have pressing projects to get done, I just leave them for tomorrow, because I value my free time more. I also refuse all overtime.
>>
I've been a NEET and I've been a upper middle class earner (>120K USD).
It's not the money I value so much as it is the power and feeling of growth I have from watching building my career. I'm someone who has always had very little hobbies until my focal point became my career and I found joy in watching it grow and evolve.

The money is only valuable in that it makes me feel as though my jewish overlord is not granted access to my extremely valuable skillset for less than market value.

I could live for free for the rest of my life. BUT I AM FUCKING CAPABLE. I do my job. What else was I going to do? Play video games? I get paid, buy what I want and still play video games. I cook beautiful meals for myself and others. I feel no guilt for over indulging myself because I fucking earned this. Now I have parkinsons and I'm going to lose everything I value while you stupid fat fucking lazy fucks leech off of those who work. My life is going to be hard and short. My only consolation is that the fall is coming. The signs are everywhere. Free time is appealing as a NEET until you need to buy something important, pay some kind of unexpected bill, see a doctor, or w/e. I quit a 6 figure job as a software engineer because I was sick of everyone's bullshit and invested it well enough that I earn slightly more now than the pension + own a small house with power and Internet. But even with that there's still so much shit you need money for ...

There's no reason for me to ever go back to a job and I've done plenty of cool things during this time. But just the fact that you have no power over any shit that happens is really off-putting. Like right now, I have to go see a urologist because I have pain in my bladder and it's going to cost $200. Well, this money obviously isn't shit when you're a wage cuck and if you're trying to live outside the system like me, it's just really depressing knowing that such insignificant amounts of money are things to worry about.

As a NEET, I often have to spend weeks even months before I have enough to buy things I need and I don't feel like I'm wasting my life since I'm living exactly how I want. But as a wage cuck, you at least never worry about financial stuff and the only significant problem you have is the existential feeling that you're wasting your life. So even though wage cucking is physically and mentally more demanding, the routine is also so numbing that you get used to it and then the only problem you have is philosophical. NEETs have to worry about far more shit and the living situation is almost never in your control.

Very stressful, It's never the same on the day to day so there never really is any routine that sets itself and you need to be top notch at all time because being responsible for the maintenance of production equipment means there is 0 tolerance for mistakes. They can, but from what I've seen they don't because they're too busy frogposting and masturbating to anime and pretending to actually be busy, rather than actually giving back to the community.

The only volunteers I've ever seen were college-aged workaholic over-achievers, high school kids wanting to pad their resume, retirees, and sometimes a soccer mom/football dad.

Looking after babies is a shitty, exhausting job. It's not about how amazing it is, it's about the fact they need 24 hour care and nobody can afford to pay for that.

Having a job is far easier than dealing with a screaming, unpredictable kid who wants to wake up 3am for food then refuse to go back to sleep.

>Then talk about these super difficult jobs you've done.

Which ones? The 14 hour days? The 80 hour weeks? The ones where you sleep for 3-4 hours and then get back up and do it all over again?

Tell me all about your struggles to work some menial entry level faggot retail wagecuck job doing fuck all.

>Babies sleep longer than a normal person

No, they don't, you completely clueless idiot. At best, they will sleep no more than 4 hours in one go and they will only do that once a day, usually late at night.

>if you don't have a hard job in the morning it's just a mild inconvenience.

You've never had a proper broken sleep every single night for months on end. You don't just feed them and they magically go back to sleep. And when they finally do go to sleep, do you honestly think you just sleep immediately? Oh, do you think they actually stay asleep and don't decide to wake up ten minutes later and cry for no obvious reason five times in a row?

>Wow, it's fucking nothing. The fact that you even think that's even notable shows that you're grasping at straws.

The fact you have no idea how much effort it takes to keep a household running while looking after an unpredictable kid couldn't be more painfully obvious, you complete and utter retard.

I want you to remember this day and how stupid you are when you finally breed and can't cope.

Again, stop posting about things you have no clue about because you have never experienced them and have a childs view of what life is like.

You still get plenty of free time if you only work 5-8 hours 5 days with no social obligations.

I can still spend 12 hours a day on the computer, but I also get money.

Wagies always say that time is money. You can trade your time for money as a wage cuck and you can use your money to buy other peoples time. So under this dichotomy, doesn't this also mean that the NEET is richer than the wage cuck since he has unlimited free time?

Check mate wage cucks.

Please, oh enlightened NEETS, explain to me how someone who doesn't:
>live in a welfare state
>live somewhere with affordable housing
>have wealthy/lenient parents
is supposed to pull off the NEET lifestyle. Sorry, but it's fucking impossible and I would be living on the street or dead within a year.

Perhaps you should form a NEET thinktank in your local charter to tackle this issue of homelessness among NEETs in your local?
