Lads I think I made the wrong decision in voting leave
I literally only voted leave because I want to be a fisherman. That is my only aim in life, to buy a boat and fend for myself in a nice cottage eating tuna and cod until I die
I know this will be more likely now because of the brexit because the EU was taking most of our fishing space. But everyone I know is basically suicidal. My parents have stopped talking to me. When I told them why I voted leave they gave me the phone number for the local chippy and told me that I have to move to one of the apartments above it within a week.

Well, 2 years and 1 month as a civil engineer, and today I got fired guys. I've got a four week notice until I become NEET.

I had a good, well paid, professional job - that I studied 4 years for at uni - all taken away from me. I even did them a good job, I turned up every day, did what was asked of me but this wasn't enough.

The normies won.

They won this time, but the robot will prevail; my aim now is to become rich. The rule book is out of the window; I will make normies financially desolate for my financial gain. They will pay for this.

Where is the source for that claim it's the bottom of the list? Both Obama states the relationship will endure and remain as it has, and the U.S. Trade Representative acknowledged that, too.

U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman said in a statement on Friday that he was evaluating the UK decision's impact on TTIP, but would continue to engage with both European and UK counterparts.

"The importance of trade and investment is indisputable in our relationships with both the European Union and the United Kingdom," Froman said. "The economic and strategic rationale for T-TIP remains strong."

Nowhere have I seen anyone claim the US has put a trade deal at the bottom of the list
>>
>>29509357

he has not yet learned how to use the loo, so to be tolerant we will have to have some designated streets for him to go in.
>>
>>29509537
Also they cannot be unreasonable in their demands for a trade deal, and even the German finance ministry put a recommendation for us being a partner of the EU. To act unreasonably will spark more eurosceptic parties, as this already did.

We have not lost relations with anyone outside of the EU who we already had a relation with. It's entirely the EU we need to handle, not the US, not China, not the commonwealth nations. Japan, the EU, South Africa and South Korea are all confirmed for needing negotiations. Japan isn't even unusual, it's just how it is. South Korea proposed a free-trade deal once the results came in. South Africa intends to negotiate with us in October. The EU's official statement at least acknowledges that it'd be a good decision to keep the UK as a close partner. We also did not lose anything with Ireland.

A Prime Minister resigned. The pound plummeted. The FTSE 100 lost significant ground. But then the pound rallied past February levels, and the FTSE closed on a weekly high: 2.4% up on last Friday, its best performance in 4 months. President Obama decided we wouldn't be at the 'back of the queue' after all and that our 'special relationship' was still strong. The French President confirmed the Le Touquet agreement would stay in place. The President of the European Commission stated Brexit negations would be 'orderly' and stressed the UK would continue to be a 'close partner' of the EU. A big bank denied reports it would shift 2,000 staff overseas. The CBI, vehemently anti-Brexit during the referendum campaign, stated British business was resilient and would adapt. Several countries outside the EU stated they wished to begin bi-lateral trade talks with the UK immediately. If this was the predicted apocalypse, well, it was a very British one. It was all over by teatime. Not a bad first day of freedom.

http://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/683117/US-and-Canada-lead-promises-to-maintain-trade-relations-with-Britain-outside-the-EU

>President Barack Obama today said the UK and EU will remain "indispensable partners" of the United States following the Brexit vote
>Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau echoed the sentiment from President Obama in a statement today. He said: "The UK and the EU are important strategic partners for Canada with whom we enjoy deep historical ties and common values.

Don't live in the UK if you don't want your country buying from China. They are only behind Germany in terms of import partner size for the United Kingdom. Germany, admittedly, have a huge lead over China at 15.1%.

China and the US are big import partners to still maintain close relations with. We lose out by not having an agreement with Germany until Cameron has left, though.

this is coming from someone who has lived in Taiwan and visited China. Even if you don't want to live in any developing Chinese city you can live in Taiwan (basically the Chinese Korea/Japan, it's completely 1st world) or get set with a comfy language job back home.

Mandarin is the best language you can learn as a EoP, French/German/Italian will net you "meh" on your CV. European migrants will usually speak 2-3 languages like the latter listed easy and it's nothing special.

Chinese will make you stand out, mostly because the few British Chinese here can't read or write and the actual Chinese immigrants don't have native level English.

Oh right, this 360 million wasn't plastered on the side of a massive red bus from the leave campaign?

And Farage didn't go on TV this morning saying that it was a mistake by the leave campaign?

And that nobody can promise that this "360 million" would actually ever be spent on the NHS?

Taking into account what we get back from the EU, the real number is somewhere around 190 million. Which as a percentage of our GDP is literally less than 1%.

Where exactly are these supposed "billions" going to come from? Does it come from the same magical realm where all the pakis have magically disappeared and there's an NHS hospital on every street corner?

No that anon, but you can't blame Farage for that. If you listen to the interview, he had nothing do do with it and it was a mistake by the leave campaign.

at no point did Farage say the entire 350m would go to the NHS, he said it is now money saved that we can spend on what we want.

Both campaigns have been a shambles, but this one isn't on Nigel.
>>
>>29510759

That's fine. I can accept that the 350 million didn't leave Farage's lips but you can't say that the entire leave campaign wasn't built on lies & misinformation which was deliberately spread to sway the average sun reading working class racist.

No, it wasn't. Although even if it was it wouldn't be affiliated with Farage at all.
>And Farage didn't go on TV this morning saying that it was a mistake by the leave campaign?
He did. No idea why because they never made that claim.
>And that nobody can promise that this "360 million" would actually ever be spent on the NHS?
No one ever claimed it would be solely spent on the NHS. That would be 100% of the money we save from not being in the EU spent on the NHS solely. It'd be really stupid.
>Taking into account what we get back from the EU, the real number is somewhere around 190 million. Which as a percentage of our GDP is literally less than 1%.

The entire thing wasn't built on lies and misinformation, but a lot of it was. As a leave voter, it was embarrassing.

The remain side was no better, scaremongering and worst of all exploiting the death of Jo Cox for political gain before she was even in the ground. Obviously not all of what they said was wrong, there are valid points on both sides which I feel weren't developed by either party.

Overall, I think the campaign on both sides were very poor.

>>
>>29510956
The Remain campaign had the Prime Minister outright lie twice because of overconfidence and then he did a 180 and announced he was standing down in October. Leave has issues in its campaign, so does Remain.

Half the fearmongering done as a result of leaving never even should have happened. It didn't take long for us to have the US confirm its relationship and plans to trade with us. It didn't even take long for the Treasury Secretary and G7 Finance Ministers to say that they predict our economy to remain strong and stabilize after the initial shock, which they're prepared for.

Like the great bulk of fear over the results is dumb, and it was parroted just because people heard something on the news.

>>
>>29511230
Obviously the idea is that without that constantly going to the EU, it can be used for the NHS and other necessary areas. The advert is flawed as fuck, we can all see that, and the reason it's flawed is because it's incredibly vague. It's up to the government to now say what that money can be used on
>>
>>29511282

yeah the idea was there. But now that leave has won and Boris and Nigel are basically floundering because they have no fucking idea how to spend this imaginary money.
>>
>>29511310
We don't even have the money yet and we're still in the EU. It will be years until it's a practical thing we have to respond to. Obviously any areas which the EU has been funding will continue to be funded. Maybe all that it will be is all those areas will be funded more. Who knows?

I'd like to see some information about how much each county in the UK gets what amount of money in grants/funding from the EU.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/brexit-cornwall-issues-plea-for-funding-protection-after-county-overwhelmingly-votes-in-favour-of-a7101311.html

Cornwall is already scrambling to 'secure' the funding which is propping up their garbage constituency.

My guess is that the amount we get from the EU in grants, subsidies and regeneration projects like resurfacing roads or improving infrastructure will MASSIVELY outweigh the supposed 350 million/week we send to them.
