My Indian Muslim parents are upset I have a gf.
On may 28th I graduated high school number 12 in my class with a 75% scholarship to a nearby good yet rigorous private university, second most exclusive in my glorious state of Texas (TCU for you faggots that will try and look it up.) It was all good, my parents were pretty proud of me.
However, I also got a girlfriend (half Japanese half white shinto) that I kept a secret from them because dating is haram. My parents ended up finding out after we went to the Renaissance Faire one day and quickly became very diappointed. They had a long talk with me about how if i date her I will not be able to achieve my dream of being a doctor and compared the wages of a warehouse worker at $11 dollars an hour and a doctor earning $100,000 a year. Despite the fact that she is #21 in her class and aspires to be a doctor like me, and is twice as hard working and honest as me (my gf got pretty upset when I admitted to her that I cheated in school sometimes.)
And getting a gf was the first time I did something socially successful, before this I would go to school, come home, sit down in my desk, open up my laptop and study and play vidya and browse 4chan all day. After I met her I started to have friends too but now that is all gone. And with summer in full swing my schedule is now wake up, play vidya and browse 4chan all day. Going out with her and friends was so much more fun than csgo every day, yet my parents took that away from me so I can focus on "studies". I play vidya all day, they do nothing. Get a gf and friends, they get upset because they will hinder my studies.
I only go outside for work now, so at least I'm not stuck in my desk the entire day. But on days with no work, it's not common for me to sit in my chair the entire day. I don't even have my own room, my 2 brothers and I all share two rooms collectively, one with our beds and second for "studying", where we all sit on our computers the entire day.

Yes, she is shinto, her mother is Shinto and her father is atheist white american. If I am to marry her one day than I would want my children to be raised Muslim, however, it is the general trend for children to uptake the mother's religion, just like my gf did. Tbh I'd love it if she converted but she doesn't seem too interested and is actually pretty proud to be Shinto.
And converting her wouldn't be easy since I can't take her to mosque since there are separate sections for males and females, and contact with the opposite gender is discouraged.
And even if she was Muslim my parents wouldn't want me to date her, and would only encourage contact when I intend to marry her.
In Islam, the idea is that instead of asking a girl out on a date, you ask her if she is interested in looking into marriage. Your family then meets her family and you all have a group discussion and see if you two would be a good match. You are allowed to talk with the female, plus see her hands and face (so much freedom!), but not be with her alone or talk to her privately, it must be in a family setting (who the fuck acts like their true self in front of parents.) You then get married and if you find out you aren't compatable with your life and her real personality you can't divorce because it's looked down upon, plus how do you get a second wife when you cannot talk to women besides proposing to them out of the blue?

Sorry if I wasn't clear as to my situation, I cut my OP short due to character limit. I am starting college at TCU this fall, and they require that I stay on campus for the first two years. It's 30 min away but there are very few Muslims there so nobody there to be like "Ooh anon is dating" and leak it to my parents, since they are pretty well known in the Muslim community.
Anyway I am gettng away from my parents and the Muslim community for at least two years. My little bro wants to go to A&M for the same reasons plus he fears he may not get into TCU.

Actually, she is going to be a senior in college next year, and she really wants to go to UT herself (will get automatic acceptance there.) She still has time to decide but her older sister and her bf (I've known them before I knew my gf) also go to UT so she's pretty deadset on going there, plus I made the decision to go to TCU before we started dating. So college is taking us away, not pushing us togtether. Tho I would be happy if she comes to TCU.

OP, recognize that your first relationship, especially this early in your life, is not the be all end all of your existence. Things fall apart. It happens. You'll learn that lesson a hundred times over in college and after graduation.
Try to be social this summer and maybe see her on the sly if you can. Don't think about your future with her, stay focused on the present. In a couple of months you'll be out from under your parents' thumb and free to be your own man for the first time in your life. Take advantage of that.

Ok so this next academic year I will be in TCU and gf will be in high school about half an hour away, things probably shouldn't be rough then, over the weekends I can go out with her and tell my parents I am hanging out with my new TCU friends. I also plan on taking her to TCU'S homecoming this september and introduce her to the campus and shit, maybe even get her to stay overnight at my dorm.
Starting fall of 2017 she will probably be at UT and things will be a bit more rough after that, if we are even still together by then.
