Afaik if taken with a shitty phone camera, the picture is usually heavily distorted because of low aperture (litte light taken in by tge camera) and narrow lens angle. A pic taken by a professional photographer will pretty accurately represent you though, although you will still look different irl. Generally your mirror image should be pretty accurate.

actually no people see you specular but don't worry if you look fine on the mirror you'll look fine irl because people are used to see you specular so no big deal
