I wear a fedora. I also look good in it. Just wanted to put that out there to make people here very angry. Also, I smoke a pipe. And I own a black oilskin trenchcoat. I have been known to use all three at the same time when the occasion warrants.

And I don't care what a bunch of teenyboppers on an anonymous Peruvian llama-swapping forum think of my sartorial style.

That is all.
>>
>>29441466
Give me a pic and I'll believe you, because I honestly have seen people pull off the trenchcoat fedora look but not that many.

Honestly, I think the fedora is a pretty nice hat. The problem a lot of people make is they think you have to dress up to wear it. You don't. Well, I mean, you *can*. But you can also go the other way and dress down. It looks good when it's a little beaten up and rumpled.
>>
>>29441466
I love fedoras and trechcoats. Everytime I see a person dressed like that I know they got style and don't care what aa bunch of idiots on thenet say.
>>
>>29445443

I'm not sure who would wear a fedora in this day and age. Ever since `2013 or so, it's been an absolute no-no, because of the fedora meme. Of course, the fedora meme was forced on the Internet since 2011, and only picked up traction in 2013 after relentless forcing, but still. I would only wear one in public if someone paid me good money to do so. Too much stigma.

I think it started as a hipster thing, then awkward teens who had seen hipsters wearing them ironically started wearing them too. And then these same awkward teens started spouting racist and anti-feminist bullshit and the fedora became connected with the stereotype of the hateful video game shut-in.

I don't like feminists. I do see people wearing fedoras around here, and I'll also see bus stops getting new ads for fedoras around here every now and then. The fedora meme ruined everything, for everyone else.
>>
>>29445443
I still have my old fedora from the high school jazz band days and I wear a old ass worn out trenchcoat I got at goodwill when it's cold outside but without the fedora, I honestly haven't worn the fedora since the last high school concert.
>>
>>29445676
"People call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat or a prostitute." -- Dame Rebecca West

Seriously, you're smarter than this. Feminism is simply the belief that women should have the same rights, privileged, and responsibilities as men. There are people out there who will point to loud, authoritarian anti-males or female-supremacists and then claim that this is feminism and you should hate it. It's stupid, and you're too smart to fall for that.
>>
>>29445487
I think it will go away and the hat will be great again. And why listen to people who still get a kick of an old meme and couldn't find a new one?
>>
>>29445698
It really depends on the fedora. I think fedoras with a wide brim and dark, plain colours are pretty nice, but I've seen some sporty-looking, short-brimmed straw fedoras which looked nice worn with a white suit or a loud short-sleeve shirt. Really it's about being able to carry off a look. The nerdy-looking teens with the katanas and fedoras look goofy not because of the hat but because you can tell the clothes are wearing *them* rather than the other way around.
>>
>>29445443
Cucks on leddit won't let the meme die. Seriously hating a hat or people who wear it is beyond comprehension.
>>
>>29445743
>I'm just a MODERATE Nazi!
>>
>>29445743

Can you tell me which major figures of the feminist movement actually support this ideology though?
>>
>>29445848
>I'm just a MODERATE Islamist!
>I'm just a MODERATE Scientologist!

And so on.
>>
>>29445743
Yes. I support that feminism. But the new "feminists" are fucking crazy and they make more out of it than it is and try to shoehorn it onto everything.
>>
>>29445887
>>Yes. I support that feminism.
So you support the "feminism" of Christina Hoff Sommers and Camille Paglia, who have both been thrown out of the feminist movement and are considered anti-feminists and basically Satan by actual feminists.
>>
>>29445850
Do you know much about the history of feminism? I'm an anarchist, but I have a lot of problems with third-wave feminism myself, and I've been called a "manarchist" by enough loud, vicious, manipulative, authoritarian women in search of an oppressor to justify their victimhood that I can understand why so many people object to feminism. But I think you'd be surprised by the enlightened and intelligent views of most of the second-wave feminists, people like Angela Davis and Betty Friedan, whose politics were more concerned with class analysis than perpetual victimhood. I really regard the formation of NOW as the point where feminism was hijacked by a largely white, middle class, Puritanical academia.
>>
>>29445922
Yes, because "actual feminists" of this age are cancer.
>>
>>29445997
>>Do you know much about the history of feminism?
Yes, it was founded by fat ugly batshit insane manhating Jewish commie dykes funded by the CIA, and it was all downhill from there.
>>
>>29445743

I have my own history with feminists. I do not like them, they are ALL rude, nasty people, no exceptions.

Gender equality does not exist. I don't want women to be prostitutes or doormats, but if women want to be equal to men, they also have to be willing to give up the special treatment they get for being women, too.
>>
>>29445922
You can't get "thrown out" of a movement. But I find Camille Paglia interesting, yes. And I'm a huge fan of Emma Goldman and Louise Michel, both of whom would be considered first-wave feminists.

>>29446043
There's plenty of non-authoritarian, sex-positive, male-supportive, and even porn-positive feminists alive today. Annie Sprinkle, for example, is one of my heroes. I fucking love Annie Sprinkle.

>>
>>29446136
Annie Sprinkle was a porn star, and a good one. She emerged from the same post-modernist crowd as Andy Warhol and Lydia Lunch. Today, she does a performance piece where she gets up on stage and strips off her clothes, showing her fat, sagging, cellulited, stretch-marked, middle-aged body while porn videos of her in her prime play behind her, juxtaposing the perfect fantasy body on the screen with the realistic body on the stage. Then she sits down and opens herself with a speculum, using a video camera to show the audience her cervix, demystifying female sexuality, making it both approachable and non-frightening. To finish the performance, she pees on the audience to break the space and remind them of her physical reality.

Can you imagine the kind of courage it takes for this woman to display her middle-aged and imperfect body to a crowd while they can see her young and flawless body humping on the screens behind her?

Amazing. I am such a fanboy.
>>
>>29446251
>le current year meme
*nods respectfully*
>>
>>29446267
I appreciate that, but I don't think I would like being peed on lol. Seriously demystifycation of female sexuality is very needed.
>>
>>29446165
I don't know if you're aware of this, but the term "social justice warrior" actually originated with activists and radicals to describe the sort of campus dilletantes who think clicking "like" on Facebook constitutes action, and who believe you can win revolutions over social media. Those of us who are real activists and organizers hate those people at least as much as you do. Consider that you only have to deal with them occasionally when they intersect you online, whereas we have to deal with them *constantly* on our committees and in our meetings as we're trying to get practical things done and they're tying us up in knots over mission statements and inclusive language.
>>
>>29441466

>Those of us who are real activists

>>
>>29446394
No, but I piss a lot of people off. Does that count? I was once thrown out of prison for causing trouble -- my proudest moment.
>>
>>29446412
Why don't you piss on them? Don't you think male sexuality should be demystified too? Were you in prison for exposing yourself in public or?
>>
Are you into scat too OP? Have you ever eaten shit?
>>
>>29446440
I'm assuming you're summerish. I'm nearly 50, and I've been an organizer for more than 25 years. I'm well enough known to have a Wikipedia article about me. I've hosted two radio shows, run for public office, and been in the national media more times than I can count, most recently last year when I made the front page of every newspaper in the country.

I was in prison for doing a bit of nocturnal direct action for the organization I was spokesperson for at the time. The police tried to give me bail conditions which would have red-zoned me from the entire city because I also organized the local copwatch program. I refused, then sent me to prison, and I promptly organized the inmates to fight for better conditions. Five days later they dragged me back into court, told the judge they didn't want me in prison, and released me with no bail conditions, not even the standard boilerplate to be of good behaviour and to abstain from owning weapons. I was literally thrown out of prison.
>>
>>29446531
That doesn't answer my question though. Would you drink Annie's piss? What if it was a male performer doing the same thing? Would you drink his piss?

Does shitposting make you proud? Seriously. There was a time when trolls came to 4chan to test themselves against other trolls. Trolling is an art form; I remember spending weeks or months insinuating myself into a Usenet newsgroup, playing the long game to set up the perfect troll which would leave people in total disarray and chaos. Good trolls are always mindful of their responsibility to be entertaining.

Look at your posts. They took no intelligence, no creativity. There's no way you can be proud of that. I urge you to reconsider your shitposting ways, robotfriend. Hone your skills. Bide your time. Learn how to burrow under the skin and become the maddening itch which can't be scratched. Don't just be the text equivalent of a ding-dong-ditch.

Why are you avoiding the subject of urethral semiotics? Do you think your feminist lady friends would be disgusted by you jerking off to Annie's piss porn? I'm sure they've done worse. Is it because you're too low status for them to consider your sexuality desirable instead of creepy?
>>
>>29446741
So what you're saying is you're not going to stop shitposting. Probably because you're not smart enough to aspire to anything else, which is sad. Well, you'll have to do it alone, friendo, because, I don't plan to be your huckleberry.

You're a fat, ugly piece of shit though. You don't objectively look any worse than you possibly could in the fedora but good is not a word anyone would use to describe how you look in the clothes you've chosen to wear
>>
>>29446881
Fat and ugly? Sure, I'll cop to that. But as I've tried to explain to robots here for years, looking good is about more than just your looks. I'm staring down the barrel of 50, but I still get young college co-eds flirting with me on a regular basis because I have charisma; I'm intelligent, well-spoken, entertaining, confident, and an active and interested listener.

Fuck, you're actually retarded.

You look like shit. Your dress sense is terrible.

Nobody cares what starry eyed SJW student roasties you met at your shitty socialist clubs think, and given that you mention flirting and not fucking, there's every chance you're confusing friendliness for something else, which is classic robot grade social retardation.
