Because Adam Lanza seems like he never existed. there are two sides of it.
most of the time, a good story will be made by someone who knows he's a good storyteller, and he will ALWAYS ask for donations or sales and he will almost always be a salesman or something in that sort of field. i think every bit of content posted on this thread as proof of a conspiracy has a donation page associated with it, at least the ones i checked.
the other side is it's incredibly easy to exploit the demand for information about any tragedy. whether it's MSM talking about the dangers of autism, the gun control thing, or some youtuber randomly splicing photographs of "actors," the point is only to feed people as much as possible to become/stay relevant. everyone there realizes that people do not care if the information makes sense or is even interesting, it just has to be presented well and at volume. I personally think that the people talking about sandy hook as a conspiracy are probably making very little money because they are pretty amateur at telling the story. But that's just me, i'm sure they still get plenty of eyes.
