NEETs spend a lot of time isolated from other humans. Like the Buddha going off to meditate. Have you discovered any wisdom or insights in your time as a hermit? If so please share.
>>
I certainly have more foresight and am more focused on the big picture rather than the smaller issues of day to day life. I don't consider anything unacceptable for discussion, nothing shocks me anymore and I tend to be very calm and disconnected.
I feel nothing from making eye contact, I just stare straight at whoever I talk to; I think this came from staring at screens too long as I recall feeling discomfort making eye contact in certain situations as a pre-internet child.

I've become extremely naive, I don't lie and I assume everyone else is telling the truth. I have mixed feelings about this.

The term "robot" here generally refers to the emotional, angry and often disgraceful posters here but I find that after long enough in isolation, inside your own mind thinking over the same things over and over and over, the term does become quite literal.

Interesting. I have recently joined the NEET life and share many of the same thoughts. It seems like, if time is utilized properly, one could become very knowledgeable about virtually any subject. I've been researching various philosophical concepts and history, reading a lot more, and writing. I just don't want to get too distracted by frivolity and wind up wasting this opportunity
>>
I've realized how funny it is that I want to kill myself because I'm scared of what I call my life coming to an end
>>
>>28969836
I have spent the last 8 years meditating and working on a dream practce and studying esoterics and the occult.

I have a lot to share, but it's best if you ask specific questions.

I would say that the one most important thing that I've learned is that what we think is reality is just a screen that images are projected onto and that they all just pass by like a movie. even thoughts and feelings aren't real, they're just passing weather patterns or scenes in the great movie of life.

The real reality is not the seen, but the seer.

Whats a good way to really get into the occult?

Go to a magic shop where they sell crystals and incense and pentagrams and have psychic and tarot readings and ask them. A lot of them have vast knowledge of groups and books and resources and online forums to help.

If you want to get into Thelema, a High Magickal practice focused on finding and doing your True Will, look up Aleister Crowley and the A.'.A.'. (Argentum Astrum) and the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. It's a very well-developed, organized path.

outercol.org

also, for advanced satanism (which is really just Thelema without all the serving your fellow man stuff), see the temple of set.

What if I can't go to a magic shop?

A famous karate master once secluded himself in the mountains in order to perfect a secret technique in order to crush boulders with his bare hands.

If you could become stronger by secluding yourself, then surely I've cultivated enough strength to crush this beer bottle with a karate chop.

Its funny, my normalfag friends come to me for dating advice and value my opinion despite me being a 24 year old hhkv NEET.
>>
>>28969836

I was neet like 3 years, I become one because because a strong depression, it started when I was 18 years old, and with time pass of the time it become more stronger.

with the time being a neet I realized that people who get success, it's because they have motivation, and they love and fight for the things they love, (money, bitches, being teacher, etc). So every time you fail, you will have the guts to reaise, because you know you are doing it for yourself and it's the way that will makes you happy. technically, it's the people's fuels.

Don't make the same mistake as I did, just I was a imbecil without balls, who never make own desicions, just listened to my parents without hesitation, go to college in a career just for make them feel proud, and there were close minded, and never let me to do a thing that I really like it, because I will starve.

Is it possible to summon a succubus? I am legit going to try the next new moon.
>>
>>28970270

Oh certainly. As long as you remain unbiased, or at least are able to play devils advocate properly instead of wasting your time trying to confirm assumptions you already had and ignore evidence to the contrary. The internet utilised properly is the greatest human achievement.

I've boned up on physics, mathematics, history, the arts, psychology, philosophy, 5 SEA languages, biology and chemistry.

My thoughts these days mainly focus on the possible futures brought about by the actions of today and what steps I can take to inject certain wisdoms into popular culture to ensure the world is an objectively better place.
People talk a lot about things being "progressive" but they're often dumbstruck when you ask what the endgame is, what this "progress" is working toward.

The most important things to work into our culture, a successful future proof culture, is foresight. Once people stop making emotional responses (consuming shit because YOLO for example) we can work on reducing the ego and selfishness in preparation for the next and most important stage.
>>
Funny about the eye contact, because it's become sort of a calculated puzzle for me. I'll look someone in the eyes, and as soon as they break contact I'll use that for an interval and start mirroring their breaks. I think I'm going insane.

You have so much free time and a wealth of free knowledge at your fingertips, don't waste it by filling your head with bullshit. Please.

Look, I know you "want to believe", we all do, but don't go looking for shit that isn't there. Look into the beauty of mathematics, the purest language. Look into physics, chemistry, biology...real quantifiable shit.
Watching Dan Akroyd pointing at a spec of dust in a night vision camera and calling it a paranormal entity is a waste of your potential.
>>
>>28970644
Indeed. This time for reflection has let me research and ponder where we as a society are heading. A future with more people, less jobs, an inevitable economic collapse. Idealistic concepts like why are we ( as a society ) not being more proactive in sparking a green revolution? Why do people define themselves by the work ( they mostly hate ) they do? Capitalism is an outdated paradigm that only leads to empty materialism and legal slavery.

You don't.

Either you're born with it in your blood, and do it naturally, Or you can't do anything paranormal at all.

Every magic book and hermetic practice are chains you don't need.

>"THEY HAVE VAST KNOWLEDGE."

Pfah! What a bunch of rubbish. There's nothing of value those stupid roleplaying cunts can offer anyone, let alone someone wanting to make something weird happen. You know it deep down, too. Thelema is uneccessary, along with what most of the AA does.
>>
>>28970693
mathematics, history, and language are important parts of the occult. Serious occultists do not favor bullshit that feels fun over actual truth. We go beyond materialism and logic but we never violate or ignore it.
>>
>>28970791
It may be unnecessary, but it's a helpful guideline and a good set of resoures. having it in the blood is not the same as having it in the mind. Those with the gift must develop it.

I wonder if the future really does belong to the Chinese. Their larger numbers, greater willingness to conform and Buddhist foundations of belief make them perfect candidates for a technological hive-mind revolution. When 60 million people share the same id and ego, no longer competing amongst each-other for resources and status, working towards one goal and solving problems together they'd dominate the planet in a frighteningly short time.
>>
>>28970872
You are vastly overestimating the chinese. A lot of them are severely materialistic and a lot more can't stand in lines without cutting and shit in the streets. They are absolutely not a model of togetherness.
>>
>>28970872
It does, they're extremely collectivist and racist and have absolutely no ethics or any kind of a "higher" belief system, they're perfect capitalist drones..

>>28970889
That's good. That just shows how ruthless and inhuman they are, that's how you succeed in the modern world. Be a cockroach and you'll get far (unless you're one of the cockroaches that gets eaten of course, but you should be happy to feed the swarm).
>>
>>28970872
I wouldn't want to be a part of that culture. They are selling out their environment and enslaving their people in subpar employment to make us cheap junk. Loaning us money to keep the party going. It's not going to end well for them.

Real power stretches from seeing things in their truest form. Abandoning superstitious nonsense, figureheads and ceremonies is a positive step in the right direction.

What I can do isn't *magic*. It's a genetic anomaly, coupled with subconscious probability calculation, and other phenomena I haven't figured out--- I dream births and deaths in my family, I can 'look' into people's lives and relive small memories, basically I can get inside someones head. I can remote view, and I can also remote taste (?) for some reason.

But it's not occult, those days have passed.

They are simply anomalies-- Worthy of recording and noting, but nothing to base a belief system on. Do yourself a favour, friend, abandon those outdated losers and do it all yourself.

The best way to start is to read medical and research journals/ papers and the like.

I don't think a functioning hive mind needs to be that homogenous. It's annoying that the only word we have to describe this phenomenon is "hive mind." There's more to global consciousness than uniform opinions, although that can happen. Usually there are only pockets of uniform opinions, which is probably for the best most of the time.

But we all need this planet to be healthy. It would be in all of our best interests if we preserved its natural ecological cycles seeing as those are the circumstances we evolved in. That doesn't mean we should all act the same or think the same. We can go about this in a variety of different ways.

My syntax is probably shit. I'm sort of burned out at the moment.

Not really. They'll adapt, just like cockroaches. They don't give a shit. You're looking at this from a perspective of a normal healthy human being, and that shit's been going extinct since the 19th century. There's no place for you in this world or the next.

I have come to realise that it doesn't matter if you escape all the degeneracy, all the greed and suffering in the world, if you are alone. Those girls in the dorms of the arts colleges having casual sex will always be far above you, because they have the one thing you cannot grasp: A genuine sense of empathy, love and community. An ability to connect with others.

I realized this a while ago too. It doesn't matter if I'm the smartest man on earth and end up discovering a way to make people live forever

i've been working on a universal theory of thought for the past two years

right now i've identified 4 types of thought patterns that people have:

lower reactive

ia ia a a

lower active

a a ia ia

what they do, what i do, what they do, what i do,

higher reactive

a ia ia a

higher active

ia a a ia

what they do, what i do, what they do, what i do

a is action
ia is internal action

the way it works is certain types misidentify ia as a and vice versa and then pass on that ia as a to other types

like when a lower reactive goes ia a lower active type will view that as an a and respond with an a which is what the lower reactive expects anyway but it will also learn that ia is an appropriate a

I realized I don't care after I found out my family had sold grandpappy's shotgun. I kind of snapped, and now I'm a cyborg. At my most bullet hungry I'd only leave my room to get one meal a day and the bathroom was right next to my room. Now I have a social life. So eventually, maybe, sometimes people just snap and it's not always a bad thing.

I haven't meditated. I've been writing. It's a self-indulgent fantasy adventure thing. I wanted something I can pretend is eternal because I hate things ending and people leaving. My story won't end unless I want it to and my characters can never leave unless I want them to. By the end of summer I'll probably have written over 1,000 pages at the rate I'm going. With the maps, art, and stories that exist in-universe I'm probably going to be Darger level crazy someday unless something happens.

Are you still there? I want to keep going.

I was doing something in my pit of depression that has almost spanned a decade. I was assembling the skeletal structure of a solution to endemic problems that plague us all. It's massive, and I myself don't have all the answers, but I do have an outline. The best way for me to use my own particular talents to change things is by working in media and business. It will take a lifetime - 20 years at least, maybe less with a competent network - to completely turn things around, but it is viable.

The answers I've found have to do with new formats of information and green business practices.

Some people are just born with a light in them. Maybe most people, are but it just dies quickly if neglected. It's harder to reignite people if their light goes out or never starte, probably.
I gave my light for someone else's light to shine. I just finished mopping up some vomit from me drinking earlier and I haven't slept int a while and I've been livign off canned soup and the things my neighbor sometime makes for me and I haven't pulled up the black out curtains myself in a year, but I don't regret what lead me to being messed up and choosing to stay messed up. The person who shines does it enough for three people, seeing him be happy and kind and stuff is worth it. I'm not happy, probably never will be but I'm content with my choices. Tey were bad choices, could have done better, but everyone thinks that on some level so nothing special here

I always stop myself before reaching this point but fuck it i don't care anymore. So many of you are in love with revolutionary cycles. The catharsis of it all. No one concerns themselves with what comes afterwards. As if Nirvana will be attained once and forever after the final boss is defeated. But successful revolutions are as much about creation as they are destruction. If you can't provide a viable alternative to the status quo, what's the point?

I'm not here to create a cult. I'm here to fix problems.
>>
I defeated tfw no gf.

Never really had it, but rather I realized through observation that a lot of the people with things that we all want aren't living in eternal bliss or anything like that. Its just silly to think that you get a gf and all your problems will be solved. Having a strong inner self is much more important. Having willpower and self discipline easily dwarfs having a fucking 10/10 model gf.

Not saying relationships aren't important, everyone could use quality people in their life, but that's not something that's unique to intimate relationships. The unique thing about intimate relationships is the mental high that comes with the sex, validation, and intimacy, but those are fragile and not something you want to rely on for your well being.

Now a quality 10/10 gf, I can't argue against that, that would just be radical, but that's pretty much a pipe dream and I don't stress out over that anymore than I do not winning the lottery, in fact I don't even play, either.
