I'm not even bad looking, problem is I'm the most boring person ever: no real interests, no passions, no friends.
I have a facebook, but it's empty, without photos and without details and without friends.
Because I have none.
So, can a tool like Tinder work for robots who look decent but are totally and utterly socially void?
I don't have actual expectations: I am lazy, incostant, picky... But I'd just like to try, only I have no idea how to do that. Should I fill my Facebook with photos and details about me? It still would remain empty of friends though...

In my experience it's all about will. I've averaged around 5 matches a week with variable levels of swiping over the last year. Pretty easy to set up dates/meetups imo. Only problem is I'm a stupidly shy permavirgin so I've never been able to follow through. It could work for you though. Honestly, just from getting drunk in bars and talking to people every now and then, there are an ungodly number of boring as fuck people out there. There really are. This might not be the look you want to give off but you could put a sports jersey on and set the camera up so you've just taken some wings out the oven for a party at your house. You grilling at your bbq giving a thumbs up, kitchen, playing video game, etc. Don't take a selfie in the bathroom or sitting at a desk.
On Snapchat you have a storyline you can post photos to. It stays up for 24 hours and anyone on your friends list can view it. You're not directly sending the picture to anyone. I've had girls message me asking when we're going out for a beer after I uploaded one to my story, same with dinner. You can do the same to them, watch their story and send them a message commenting about it. I think it's good informal communication. I'm really bad at texting though, so that's why I like Snapchat so much.
