Non-Americans, how is your country? Do you think it's better than the US? Do you like living there?

I've asked before on /int/ or reddit but it's impossible to get any good answers in those places.
>>
every mcdonalds or other fast food place I've been too outside the US has been better than the ones inside the US

that includes canada which is a damn shame

burgerfag btw
>>
>>28825924
In Brazil and a few countries I think it's considered a luxury, and a lot better than the ones here.

They already have the stigma that McDonalds is cheap shit here so I don't think they need to extend much now, though their product is on decline if I remember correctly.

Also Portugal looks nice.
>>
>>28825904
Poland here
Its bigoted, nationalist in most cringy way (think t-shirts with wolves, blood and some shitty quote about hanging traitors). Plus men are absolute wimps, able to get away superiority-macho attitude while doing next to nothing and looking worst of all european nations (safe for eastern slaves maybe).
I would honestly prefer usa, at least there is (somehow) better economy and chance to raise.
>>
>>28826098
Poland looks like a nice place to live, maybe some shitty infrastructure but a calm life. Why don't you just go to some other country in Western Europe?

I moved from the US to Australia and it is by far better.

You can move out at 18 here and afford a car and apartment on 30 hours a weeks work. Free medical.

"but stuff costs more right?"

Min wage is like 20 dollars. But stuff only costs 25% more than in the US.

You can work minimum at mcdonalds here and have a greater standard of living than I ever enjoyed in the US. Me and my wife are now renting a 3 bedroom house to ourselves and saving for the down payment on a home. Neither of us have completed school yet.

Also for all the trolling/bitching Aussies do (and one might even angrily show up in reply), their women are far superior to american sluts.

They will complain of their girls all god damn day but more of them are traditional, submissive, and want a manly guy. Its like you're getting white girls who are 25% asian.

Plus its like 90% white.

Come home whiteman.

Come to the final bastion of our race.

The last place on earth that exists in the 50's and 90's.

Come to Australia mate.

Finland. Social welfare wise there are some perks - everyone can study & even get paid for it. But as people also get paid for not doing anything, many people don't put that much effort into actually doing shit.

I don't think Finland is better than US, and I'm actually hoping to move there one day.

Murrican here.

The only problem with Australia is the poisonous everything and ridiculous heat. From my brief and unscientific study of Australians on the internet, they're usually the closest culturally to Americans.
>>
>>28826806
Aussies literally act in rl like they do on 4chan. Even at work with 35 year old aussies they will joke around and pick on each other like you're in the freshman year of highschool. If you've got soft skin thats maybe the biggest hurdle. They will call their black coworker a nigger thief, he's meant to call them bogan white trash cunts, then they laugh and eat lunch and smoke together for 15 mins.

If you can't handle that don't come.

Other than that the food is a little bland cause of their british roots. They really really suck at barbacue despite trying to "compete" with americans as bbq'rs. I find a lot of well done steaks. They act like the ones I make were created with magic.

They are better drivers but they get way angrier on the road. Road rage is so common its nearly a daily sight. Aussies don't get sued at the drop of a hat and most people dont have guns so you end up with people being really "fearless". If you talk actual shit you can expect to get hit, no one is shy to have a fight if someone gets rude at them.

They drink more than the irish I am pretty sure. They are obsessed with drinking 24/7. I live in QLD and they're even a bit worse. I had a job taking me through loads of businesses and I'd go through break rooms at diff places each day and they had 24 packs of beer sitting in the breakroom at white collar jobs.
>>
Murrican here and all I can add to this discussion is that I really do want to get out of this place. At least try to live in a different country I could always move back. I'm thinking italy because my grandparents were from there and I can get citizenship from my dads side.

The poisonous shit is overrated. I've met 1 deadly snake in 5 years and I live on the edge of the bush.

The heat is bad cause you get 100% humidity. I used to be fine in the shade in 120F in mojave but 95F in full humidity is murder. On top of that Aussies were incredibly stubborn about electric bills, a lot of places we tried to rent had absolutely no AC installed, they would rebel and try to get by on fans alone. You'd see dudes sitting on their couches not watching tv, totally motionless, and they just wipe a full sweat off their whole body with a towel every 30 minutes.

I said fuck that, I can afford 2000 dollars in electric bills a year to keep my ass comfortable 6 months of the year.

Its weird they are first-world but haven't mastered central heating/cooling. All the homes have no fucking vents. There's just an industrial sized wall mounted AC in the living room of most homes like its a japanese anime.

Pic related.

I do think they're close to Americans. I love how angry and racist they are. I feel like they'd definitely riot before they allowed themselves to get cucked like Europe.
>>
>>28825904
whoa, i'd buy food there.
>>
>>28826982

Anywhere in italy would be fine by me, but yeah the job situation over there is terrible so its a pipe dream. I wish I could teach english or something but I don't really speak italian so can'do that.
>>
>>28826951
I dunno man. Get a 2 year work or student visa and try to get married while on it. I know worker visas usually get renewed at least once too.

>>28826982
Same thing I thought of the US when I was there, a lot of people aren't realizing just how far its fallen. Its better in many many other places around the world.

I wouldn't go back to the US if a gun was pressed at my skull. There's no opportunities there, everyone is manic as fuck, there's a billion advertisements in your face when you step outside, the police are a military, white people are considered evil, and the women are un date-able.

America created the robots of this board. The UK ones have their own backgrounds for existing. I've met Aussie robots but they are so rare and usually just traps or something, its pretty easy to be a neet in Aus. You practically cannot fail. I've seen 1 bum ever.
>>
In nz, has its perks but i would love to live in the US especially if we become cucked
>>
>>28827060

Aussiebro here, another thing about this image.

A lot of mcdonalds look like that outside of the US.

When I lived in California most fast food joints had 2-4 employees running whole kitchen, 2 registers active and the drive thru.

In Australia it always just feels grossly blown up to me. Every fast food place has fucking 15 people in it. You see how there's like 9 chicks at the front there? Thats just half, its not like the entire kitchen is suddenly working in the front. Its like that till 11pm then they drop down to maybe 5 employees minimum.

In Australia they have people aged 15-17 paid half of minimum wage. Sounds bad at first, but then you realise it

GIVES THE EMPLOYERS INCENTIVE TO HIRE TEENS.

Grocery stores, mechanics, fast food, they all love to hire fresh labor. These kids gain the skills they need to go out and find work/talk to bosses/be in the real world. Its way better than begging for work for 2 years from 16-18 in america and no one wants to hire you cause of 10 billion laws.

Think about it too, oh no what if they fire you when you turn 18 and they gotta pay more?!

They usually move you to another location or keep you as you already have proven you can work.
>>
Canadian here (Quebec). Pretty good country, don't know if I'd prefer to live anywhere else.

It's thousands of times better than Murka. I've been there a handful of times for both work and leisure and American culture is all kinds of fucked up. Luckily most Americans don't travel outside of their own country, so they can be still happy wallowing in their collective excrement.

I'm in northern Brisbane and I usually hear more negative talk from folks down in Syd or even Melb/Adelaide.

I know Sydney is essentially Los Angeles or chicago and I don't doubt it sucks major cock there.

Bris is boring but in general pretty safe and clean. The abbos keep to themselves here and I do business in both the Gold and Shining coasts and see the same things there.

Man the Gold Coast has such fake cunts in it though.

Don't ever let someone convince a friend of yours the US is great anon, dont ever let a friend move there.
>>
>Bosnian
>lived in Germany,
>visited US and most of EU.

My country is corrupt as fuck and every year it gets more and more backward, contrary to popular belief before the war this was actually a pretty nice place.

Compared to the US it's a much more dog eat dog society in most aspects. Finding a job is virtually impossible with unemployment at 50%, especially if your don't already have 5 years experience in your field. The police, courts, hospitals etc. are useless. We don't get netflix.

On the other hand we have universal healthcare and college is free unless you had terrible grades in HS. Murder and rape rates are 25 times lower than the US. You can do whatever you want without the feds breathing down your neck on the internet, if you like guns and drugs you're set (which kind of makes you wonder about the crime rates.)

Visiting family in the US (Grand rapids, St. Louis) only made me realize that all my prejudices about the US are justified. It was surreal: normally when you have preconceived notions of a country and actually go there- you see how silly your ideas were. The only exceptions was visiting the US.

Germany is god tier from a quality of life perspective. The native people are cold , humorless cucks, while the non-white foreigners are mostly trash.

Germoney reporting in.

Contrary to the news and shit /pol/ says the "situation" with refuges over here isn't as bad as it is made out to be.
Politicly it sucks because the major parties are shit, more shit and even worse shit. Merkel sucks but the alternatives are even worse to be honest. But besides that it is really nice living here. I am living in one the bigger german cities and I honestly love it but as always it could be better, eg politics.

>Do you think it is better than the US?
In a lot of ways I think we are "better" than the US but when I think about that even the US has the gay marriage and we don't or that the AFD is voted because "why not" I honestly start to question if it really is that good living here. I have been to the US before and honestly a lot of nice people live overseas but I don't think I would ever move to the US because honestly I don't think that germany nor the us would be the right choice for me, I don't quite fit in either of them.

But all in all you can say that I don't have that high of an opinion about the US but I like the few people I've met.

>>28828283

That's why I mentioned it actually, I have a friend who said the same thing as you.
I wouldn't mind learning the language and visiting sometime, and if it fits my other criteria, fuck it I'll just move there
>>
I'm British but I currently live in Germany. I previously lived in the United States, and I have also lived in Denmark.

The first thing to note is that Germany is much cheaper than the cities in your country. I am sure there are parts of the US that are equally cheap, but not where anyone would choose to live without a good reason.

Germany is also more aesthetically beautiful. There is more variety in the architecture and there are many beautiful historic old buildings. And I am not talking about old castles out in the middle of nowhere. I am talking about in the middle of towns. They are banks, bars, stores, etc. There are historic buildings in some parts of the US too, of course. But it's not often you can step inside, or if you can it's a museum.

Pic related is the street I live on, although my home isn't in the frame. There's no one in the picture, and it's quite quaint, which makes it look like a sleepy little village. But it's actually pretty large, with around 300,000 people.

I like it a lot here. Maybe I'll get bored, but for now I am happy. If I ever get rich enough to afford a great lifestyle in a big city in the US, I'll give it another shot. But right now my lifestyle is so much more comfortable than it was when I lived in America, and I feel like a happier, healthier person.
>>
>>28825904

Shit, blondies that everyone would marry working in Mcdonalds

Fuck, i hate living in a brown shithole

> Yes, its Brazil
>>
>>28827313
It's hard to find a place to start, really. But I can try.

It's weird. You can just feel that something is off. Even in big US cities, which should be the pinnacle of civilization, you get the feeling that it's kind of the wild west all over again. For example, when I visited San Francisco I paid for a luxury hotel (The Palace) for the single night I would be there, just to know what downtown was like at night. When I went for a walk, just 2 or 3 streets away from that ridiculously luxurious hotel I found myself surrounded by bums (most of them looking like they have serious mental health problems), cheap grocery stores, cheap liquor stores, barred windows, etc. When I got back to the hotel, the stark contrast made me feel uneasy about my choice.

I think what it all comes down to is, the USA's aversion for any kind of socialism can be defensible from an ideological standpoint, but from this side of the fence it's easy to see that without a proper social safety net, all of society loses.
The social safety net in the US appears to be completely replaced by really cheap, really shitty replacement for most parts of life. If you don't have money to eat, you go to McDonald's (seriously, McD's in the USA is wayyy cheaper than Canada) or eat other cheap junk. Don't have any money for a house? You live in cheap trailer parks or crime-ridden housing projects. Don't have money to go to the hospital? You're just fucked here, I guess.

From there, all the bad parts just feed onto each other: the war on drugs has been perverted and turned into a war on poor/black people. The second amendment has been perverted from its initial goal of protection against tyranny and turned into a "right to shoot at people in self-defense", which feeds into the general sense of paranoia that is literally tangible in some neighborhoods.
>>
>>28828226

Dont talk about Brazil please, argie scum

>>
>>28828352
I've been there a few times with friends and alone and it is so beautiful. The people are great, the city itself has a lot of history, museums and seems so nice to just live in and my dearest memory is when I've been walking through the streets in prague when everywhere was snow and it was deep in the night and that might have been the best moment of my life so far, it was so quiet and so beautiful. If you have to the chance to go and live there, even if it is just for a few years definitely take the chance and do it, I don't think you would regret it.
>>
>>28828505

Prague is one of the greatest cities on the planet, but you'd struggle to find comparable employment there.
>>
>>28828475

Because you dont know about Brazil.

We have the same size (almost) in territory and population.

We tried socialism. Our constitution is the most socialist thing that exists in the world.

IT JUST DONT FUCKING WORK when you have a big population that is not homogenous. It's impossible to live the "scandinavian" dream. The alternative is what the USA did, cheap things, free market to the core so everyone have a chance of living at least some poor but standard quality of life.

EVERY retarded brazilian that goes to the US have a better life. I mean retarded because here in Brazil they would be living in favelas but in the US you have so much opportunity and cheap things that you have a much better live.

Dont talk about you dont know first worlder socialist prick
>>

In this particular city I live in, everyone is dead inside.

>>28828475

Then the prison system turns people who committed minor offenses into hardened criminals who are, for all intents and purposes, barred from any decent point of entry into society.

The USA's attitude towards religion and military patriotism also feed upon each other to produce an unhealthy mind set of "us against them". For work I've been invited to military bases in Canada, France and in the USA, and the US military culture is wayyy too hardcore for its own good. Mind you, the US special forces dudes I've met ARE the finest-tuned badass killing machines I've ever met, but when driving into a US military base town, all I see is 2 things: 1) Rebates for everything if you're military, and 2) Churches. Churches everywhere.
I don't think I can explain why this feels uncomfortable to an atheist Canadian if you don't already feel like me, but it does.

In short, the US is an almost exaggerated manifestation of 1) the global divide between the super-rich and the super-poor, as well as 2) the fear/hate of "the other", two concepts that we're at least trying to keep in check up here in Canada (even though we don't always succeed)

Any Americans in this thread that moved to a european country here?

Was thinking of moving there once I graduate with a CS degree and finding an apartment in a city.

How hard was it to relocate? Did it cost alot? Was it hard integrating yourself into a new country/culture? Do you have any advice on how to do it?

I've always wanted to live in a cozy apartment in a European city and look outside my window at a snowy night.

I'm from New Zealand

It's an amazing country, very safe, good wages a lot of the time and generally people can afford things and have a very high standard of life (just don't live in Auckland)

I really love New Zealand, it's extremely beautiful and the people are so nice, the only downside is it's so tiny and we only have about 4 million people living here.

If you live here you really need to experience the rest of the world, NZ is such a relatively new country that we don't have as much culture and history as other places feel like they do - well we have Maori culture and it is pretty cool, but even that is still pretty new really.

NZ is a lovely place, everyone should visit it at least once, but if you're from here, then you absolutely HAVE to get out at least once.
>>
>>28829490
>country is great!
>post scenic picture
The same could be done with most places.
>>
>>28829490

You know this is only true if you're rich or upper middle class, right?

NZ is beautiful but it's also a poverty stricken depressed, miserable, violent shit hole.

Not true, I'm not rich and I'm middle class now, but I wasn't for a long time.

Every country has bad parts, there's really no point in saying
>poverty stricken depressed, miserable, violent shit hole
because I think on average NZ is less than average in all of those things

And even when it is violent at least you can't get shot most of the time here.

Here's a picture of Miramar from the air, the suburb I live in now. In the capital city of NZ

I've lived in Rotorua, Auckland and Australia and I've traveled all over NZ, it's fine if you don't think NZ is a great place, and I'm not denying there's plenty of issues, but I still think NZ is a lot better than many other places, and we are incredibly fortunate to live here, if you don't think so that's cool anon :)

another nzfag throwing in my 2cents to say that the major cities are fucking cancerous from what i've experienced, constant traffic issues on the highways (upwards of a 4 hour wait during rush hour on a bad day in central auckland) and the Maori and pacific islanders are pretty fucking rancid, some of them are cool as cucumbers but a lot of them in the big cities are racist as hell and think they're above everyone else (because apparently it's their land and it was taken from them but there's no way they'd give up all the things the white man's given them over the years, without us they'd probably still be living in grass huts and worshipping trees in all honesty) when really they've been rotting in a state house abusing their family and drinking away other people's tax dollars all day for 20+ years and these types teach their kids to aspire to drop out of school early as possible (16th birthday if my memory serves me correct) and live off the government too, they start fights over nothing, claim they're in gangs to give their pathetic life some meaning, drink in public, spit all over the place and verbally abuse government workers and police constantly because apparently it's their fault they're scum.

Outside of the big cities though you get some really cool people and breathtakingly beautiful beaches and landscapes with pretty easy work especially if you don't mind cleaning or labour and living in a town where everyone knows your business even if you've never spoken to anyone, people tend to be more chilled out and nicer and you don't get too much riff raff, but yeah nah if you're in Auckland you're fucked, shitty people, no houses, shit weather, shit traffic, overpriced EVERYTHING and virtually no jobs ggwp

id say 50% that and 50% their natural stupidity, there's something about em that you just can't quite describe but you see it when you meet one of them you know straight away, it's like their brains are smaller and waaay more malleable than most, you can talk them into nearly anything no matter how ridiculous if you make them think that it's brilliant and it came from their own ideas, that's how a lot of them end up throwing what little money they have into pyramid schemes or they get roped into cooking quick cheap grade meth by higher ups for tiny profits (massive chance of nasty chemical burns and a lot of people blow themselves up doing it out of plastic bottles with battery strips but the stupid mongo-monkeys think it's brilliant when you pitch it to them right)
>>
>>28831615

It's not really like that though, at least not beyond a shallow interest in nigger music and clothes. They're warrior races, they're not made for modern society and so they stagnate in poverty and violence and substance abuse.
>>

Aztecs =/= Mexico

Mexico is hardly an old civilization.. and the reason it sucks right now is mainly because of cartels.. a problem that would mostly go away if the US didnt have its stupid "War on Drugs". Oh its a war alright; it's just being fought in Mexico, making it unsafe.
>>
NZer from Auckland here. Auckland is a shithole of traffic and the housing situation is awful. Average Auckland house price is closing on 1 million NZD. Public transport is crap. Uni isn't free but waaaaay cheaper than US, gonna only set you back 30k NZD of govt issued student loan with no interest as long as you stay in the country. Universal healthcare is great, zero fears of getting unwell and just dying from poorness. Low crime, no guns, and the only drugs are weed and meth. 90% of Auckland smokes weed and 80% deals it, 0% give a fuck. Government is MMP and not too corrupt. It's also pretty moderate, big center right and center left parties take turns un-doing whatever the other did their time in power while all the little parties try do actually interesting things so our elections tend to be fun.

Due to house prices and transport cost of living is really expensive, minimum wage isn't keeping pace, inequality is high, poverty is growing but everyone knows it so hopefully we will get round to fixing that shit next election. I wouldn't suggest moving here with 3 grand and one way ticket.

Compared to the US? I've never been to 'murica but it sounds horrifying.

Yeah, that's pretty much true. Living is expensive as fuck. Public transport is crap so you need to buy a car or have one given to you. Not doing further training after school means being trapped in hospo on minimum wage that is only just enough to survive renting on. 30k for uni isn't cheap and you have to survive while at uni. That means doing 40hrs a week of uni then also working 20hrs just to scrape by eating pot noodles or having your parents pay for everything till you can get on your own. The country is also pretty racist so yeah, being white helps. Hence why I wouldn't suggest anyone emigrate to here unless you are already an upper middle class white person.

Well most are, I mean people stand like 2 meters away from eachother at the trainstation.

The reason I want to move to some english speaking country is because I feel like I can be more open whenever I speak english. It would be nice to have some english speaking bro I could talk to about anything instead of having to avoid "mines" whenever I speak to some swedish faggot.

I am an introvert and enjoy being alone, but it wouldn't hurt to have a pal to talk to every now and then. It would also be a new start to my life than my shitty NEET life here in Sweden.

I don't know if any company still does this, but back in the 80's and early 90's there used to be services where you could specify target files to be downloaded and a company would ship them out to you on CD-ROMs (and later DVD-ROMs).

They could always send the PLA over because if the CCP can threaten war over Taiwan and a bunch of shoals in the SCS then there's no doubting its determination to keep Hong Kong a part of its territory. im from czech republic, living near the Prague
you can find job in Prague easily but salaries in general are utter-shit in CZ.

for example Germany, our neighbour has 3x higher average salary yet they pay LOWER for food in supermarkets and their food is also significantly higher quality.

lot of people from CZ know this and they often visit Germany just for the purpose to shop food there

Hopefully we don't see a bunch of Americans moving up after the elections. Fucking Amerifags need to deal with there own problems.

Philippines is shit. It's trying so hard to become a fucking imitiation of America. People trying so hard to become relevant that it's really cringe central.

The fucking informal sectors think they're hot shit and think it's still the PH revolution with every fucking one of them acting like a mob boss but failing spectacularly.

The middle class is shit because they tend to step on each others' faces just to be called rich and top-class while in reality they're just really whoring themselves to retired veterans for the latest Iphone.

If you're a really rich guy, like alpha man rich guy, you'll love it here. People will suck your dick because you're rich, pretty women will suck your dick because you're rich, and the law will suck your dick because you're rich.

Ez pz

If that happened it would be even worse than Toronto spilling out to other cities and infecting them. Even Niagara isn't safe from those fuckers

No, fuck no.
And I live in the wealthy part of town.
The pay is horrible everywhere.
I want off this ride.

I have considered just going to the US legaly with visa and just staying illegally, making almost twice as much min wage, plus I can actually speak English and I don't look mexican.
