This just reminded me of the first time I found a schizophrenic's website, all about the Illuminati and, strangely enough, a detailed discourse on dynamic analysis as applied to emotional growth. The guy did routine dynamic analysis for a living, so it should have been a no-brainer, but 13-year-old me thought he'd stumbled into some hidden trove of knowledge.
God, I wish I'd never read that page, or had some exposure to psychological theory before I did. Upshot is I can watch these things now and keep everything in perspective, but I spent several years in borderline delusion.
The more disturbing part is how much the first video reminds me of a friend of mine. He just absorbs things without a filter, and floats in this ethereal community of New-Agers that turn his incredible ability to synthesize ideas into a mumbo-jumbo-jumble that's just...disappointing.
