I've had at least one doctor tell me I didn't have it. Just because I actually got along with him. If its real they don't know it when they see it and are looking for things like no friends, agoraphobia, neurosis, etc. I happened to get diagnosed at a very young age and grew up thinking there was something wrong with me so I'll never know how I would have been affected under different circumstances.

As someone with RLS, I would agree with you, but it's still really annoying. I'm nearly always moving my leg and a lot of the time I don't even realize I'm doing it until I think about it. Also it's pretty much impossible for me to get to sleep without banging my head into my pillow and moving my legs up and down. I believe it's real, but regardless, despite being diagnosed with it myself, I fucking hate people with PTSD.
They tend to downplay everyone else's problems if that person hasn't gone through as much as them.
I grew up around veterans and other people diagnosed with it who constantly nailed into my head, how I needed to take a life before I deserved to live mine. I still have those words at heart. I want to kill someone.

This. I've met a guy with real OCD. He would literally be unable to stand up and have his face bruised as a result of his compulsions, telling himself to for instance hit it with a mug.
I've never been to a psychologist or whatever for my bullshit because my dad doesn't like putting labels on things. I did go to a campus counselor since it was free and did some assessment which said I had depression, high anxiety, and paranoia. I'm not going to say they don't exist because for the past 8 years I've been a pussy-ass, sad-sack who couldn't do shit. I don't want to use these diseases or disorders that everyone claims to have these days as an excuse for my shortcomings. So, there might be something fucked up in my brain, and there might not be, but I'm not going to use it as an excuse for being a shut-in autist when it was my own decisions in life which led to this point.
