Literally the smartest person I know has the ugliest handwriting out of anyone I know. And he's not smart in a "smokes weed and drinks all day but is really good at math" kind of way, he actually works really hard and has always been more serious about school/university than anyone I've known.

For those with shitty handwriting and no other perceived disabilities, keep in mind that bad fine motor skills is sometimes associated with autism. Take this with a grain of salt, however, as it is just one of many factors. Not all autismos have it either.
Regardless, I have shitty handwriting and poor motor skills and have been diagnosed with autism and another disability, so I'm fucked either way.

It didn't get any better. Just because I can write fancy, but unreadable, when I've got time for that, I don't write well. I write horrible desu. pic related is from high school about a year ago. It's in german btw.
But I learned the fancy font after I saw it in a book a few years ago and I just wrote every day like half an hour for a few weeks and now I can write it fluently, but as I said fancy, but unreadable and useless. It was more like a pretty autistic hobby.
