Ive always been nice to people and am somewhat of a pleaser. But I've known some people in my life that have antagonized me again and again for no clear reason while sucking up to others. I feel like some people just size you up the moment you meet em and if your first impression isnt formidable enough you can never do anything right in their eyes.

well yeah, some people are just antagonistic. this happens to literally everyone, nobody gets along well with absolutely everybody. you just have to not spend time with people like that.
