Before you get mad, I tip. I just fucking hate how entitled servers are towards it, especially in Canada. I've seen servers lie through their teeth to a customer who spent $20 on food and tipped them 5, only to come back to the kitchen and shit talk them all over. Fucking heartless.

In Minnesota servers are paid minimum wage, just like every other minimum wage profession. Plus tips. You can tell here that people go above and beyond.

here is what bothers me: i always go out to eat alone. when a server sees its just me, they automatically think, they wont be getting much of a tip. the service is almosy always shit. meanwhile, i see her bending over backwards to make that table of 6 happy, refilling their coffee and water constantly. but what about me? my glass has been empty for ten minutes and she doesnt give a shit
