This San Andreas Multiplayer roleplaying community. Used to be a flight instructor in a world where everyone cared only for shooting each others.
So I would organize together with my fellow instructors kamikaze plane strikes on unsuspecting gang fights.
They banned this practice so I left the community. I think it's still online but it's dead to me.

I used to have 50,000 posts on a fucking really weird, small, Futurama forum. There were only about 50 posters on the entire forum

For some reason I literally roleplayed as Kif (the frog who was a slave to Zapp Brannigan) in every single fucking post. I remember that the other posters would say things like 'post your penis again for me Kif' with a picture of Zapp and I would do it (after using photoshop to make my dick green).

I was basically a fucking sex slave for 50,000 posts. I remember on one occasion a girl came onto the board and I really liked her, but instead of talking to her like a normal human I tried to pick her up by writing an extensive, 1200 word post describing the backrub I gave to Zapp Brannigan.

I hate that part of my life almost as bad as this current one..
>>
>>27982964
That's one of the best things I've ever heard anon, can you tell me more? It sounds fascinating. Did you get with the girl? Why did you roleplay as Kif? Why were you on a small Futurama forum?

Oh man. Back in, maybe 2009? I found an online game where you could make levels and then share them and play with other people (think ROBLOX but not nearly as extensive, there was no lua scripting and all blocks were one size). Not the greatest game but development had basically just begun and the real appeal was the online community. We probably had ~40 people active on the forums and on IRC. It was really great and we were all friends. But over time the game descended into this pay2win nightmare with a million bugs. Eventually nobody could even play anymore, people started to question whether or not the developers even were still around (turns out they had been fired and nobody told us), and eventually the website fell into disrepair and then closed down. So a large portion of the community transferred to a new forum based around a new game, to be developed by one of the lead people behind the first game! But that game never came out, because a developer ran off with all the money or something. So people transferred to a third forum, this time run by the community and not based around any specific game. I pretty much dropped out at this point, a long with a bunch of other people because the community had degraded into "jaded people who post on 4chan a lot" and "everyone else" factions and the forum was shit. But then, after a few years of this, the developer who ran off with all the money re-appeared along with the investor who killed off the original game, to announce a NEW GAME, just a month or two ago. So we all had a nice reunion there, but it's pretty much completely dead at this point. We were all pretty much kids back in the glory days, but now we've all gotten much older and don't really have any interest.

Also in ~2007 I hung out on a forum for a clan in AdventureQuest, I think they all thought I was a girl even though I wasn't purposely making any indication of that. I stopped going there and eventually it just died, I guess.

There used to be lewd map threads on /r9k/. Some guy would post threads whenever possible on /r9k/ with a Zeemap in the OP, so that people could put their markers down and meet friends or fuck. The threads were filled with gay ERP instigated by the OP, who everybody called admin, and he made a Skype group for people ERP on. I was in it for a little while but was kicked out for being mean to people. Admin was later driven off of /r9k/ after desustorage.org/r9k/thread/13256799/ split the map threads and he stopped receiving replies. He went to 8gag and currently is the board owner of /cuteboys/. He still posts here sometimes, too. His posts and hips are very recognizable.

Back in '04 I joined a forum for Game Maker, a video game development tool. I really wanted to get into game development and RPG Maker was really bad, to me, and this one seemed more promising.

It was pretty life changing to say the least.

The forum was really small compared to the other GM forums, maybe 80 people went on it regularly. I would post my shitty projects on there and get excited when people would comment on them, even if they were mean. I never gave up. Learning how to use this program was probably the last time I was really happy.

As time went on, I became more recognized and my GM skills were improving. I was promoted to "Reviewer", in which I was allowed to post official reviews of Game Maker games on the forum's website. The forum has grown quite a bit, to about 150 people or so.

After a while, Yoyo Games (the current devs of Game Maker Studio) bought out our little forum, and shut it down. They uploaded all of the games currently on the site, to their site, without the owners permission. There were a few attempts at revivals but they never came through.

I moved to a new forum, but it wasn't as magical as the first one. I mostly shitposted in their IRC channel.

The IRC was probably the second part of this saga. I would idle in there and made a lot of new internet friends. We would competitively play this indie game called Soldat and work on our projects. We were bit of a mean spirited channel and would give new people a hard time. Those that would endure it eventually became a part of our merry band of misfits.

We were probably the most sarcastic/rude website community of the whole GM community. I didn't even really post on the website, just earned my veteran status through the IRC channel, and being a refugee of the other site that was shut down.

While on the IRC, I met a dude who lived in the same state as I did. He was super cool and I went to go meet up with him. Turns out he brought his girlfriend. She really wanted to meet me for some reason. Turns out she found my abandoned facebook/myspace profiles and knew what I looked like.

One time I went to go LAN with him because L4D1 just came out. His GF liked to play too but she had other plans. At the time I was a KHV and had no interest in girls at all because I figured they found me gross. And I was okay with it. Until she took me on this weird pseudo-date. She was super aggressive and eventually made out with me. Not knowing what to do I went along with it. I also fingered her in the middle of a movie theater. Indirectly, Game Maker gave me my first experience with girls. I was about 19 at the time.

I was in a Skype group solely based around anime and Vocaloid back in 2011-2012. It was something, we were all best friends practically. At that point Minecraft had started being popular as well, so we hung out on our own servers for eight hours while in call. I think the best part of it all was I would come from school absolutely ecstatic to talk to them and build something new.

I still know them all, but we're not friends like we used to be.

I felt mega shitty afterwards, cause I just did some dirty things with my friend's girlfriend. I couldn't help it, I was lonely. Eventually he found out, years later after they broke up, and he laughed it off. Surprising. I doubt laughing it off is how he really felt, and I'm still curious to see what he thinks. I'm still good friends with him today (And his now ex-girlfriend who likes to pretend she never was into me to the point of near-rape). A happy-ish ending I guess.

Anyhow, as time went on, the our IRC became smaller and smaller. Me and some friends from there moved to a larger channel on the network that had nothing to do with Game Maker. We were the very few that remained who originally came to the network for GM. I was the only one left who was from the tiny website's staff channel. The last of my kind has a cool ring to it.

Today, I am still in both channels. It's just me in the staff channel but I refuse to let it de-register. The other channel has some people in it still but people rarely talk.

As for my Game Maker skill, I have a fully released game on Steam and its semi-successful. I won't say which one cause its not important, but I'm quite proud of it and all of the self-taught screwing around I did paid off a little. I'm still super depressed and unhappy, but the responsibility of keeping my game running has given me a purpose in life

In recap:
>GM introduced me to friends
>GM introduced me to my hobby
>GM introduced me to my goal in life
>GM introduced me girls (albeit indirectly)
>GM has made me tons of money
>GM has kept me from killing myself

It's not the best thing to use to make games, but I owe a lot to this little guy.

>>
>>27985629
I don't miss the drama. Fido, MUDs, Usenet, BBSes, the thing which characterized them most was the non-stop petty politics. I became administator at Gateway, for example, by overthrowing the previous administration. I had agitated for a coup, which caused the admin to shut down the MUD to stop it, but the guy with physical access to the server room at the university where we were hosted decided to throw in with us and put the MUD back up. (We discovered later that the woman who had control before us kept massive logs of the cybering area which people had been told couldn't be logged or spied on. She even had the logs separated by quality, presumably so she could decide what to schlick to.)
>>
>>27985832
My fucking sides man, I saw this happen to "private rooms" as well, when I was younger id crank one out to a chick via cybering, I heard of a actual woman cybering with her wolf one time wtf.. did you ever read any of the logs thats funny
>>
>>27985937
You don't need to read too many to get the general idea.
> VikingLordmaster says: i cum on ur tits
> KittenBLASTAR says: o do me
> *VikingLordmaster nuts on ur hot ass o baby
> KittenBLASTAR says: ur so big
etc., et al., ad nauseum

We ended up deleting all her logs and I coded the area to be actually unloggable and unspyable. But we covered up the existence of the logs or people would never believe we weren't doing the same thing.
>>
>>27985937
I should mention, though, that I *did* code an interactive stripper for people to use. If you give Gateway a shot, tell them to clone one for you. It had a few hundred lines of code and I was pretty proud of it.

I used to play this swordfighting game on steam called Blade Symphony. The game never really sold well, and the community remained small and stayed in like 1 or 2 active servers.
That game was comfy, just sitting around and watching other people casually duel or afk and do other things, a newbie joins the server then everyone scrambles to duel him to see how hot his shit is, master swordsmen teaching newbies then everyone gathers around to watch the true top 1% players duel casually in the server.
Game was good too. Think of it like if Dark Souls PvP was balanced. Game just slowly died though. Never gained traction. I miss it kinda but i understand it was near death the entire time i played it.

Back in 2013 there was this small online flash game known as Ninth Realm. The game had its own forum and many other kinds of stuff. Since there wasn't any kind of promotion for the game and it only was playable on Newgrounds and its own site, the game died (You can still play it but it's most likely dead or filled with newbies).

Before I used to post on any of the big boards on 4chan I only uploaded images on /cm/.
It used to be a bit different pre-tumblr and pixiv, plus it had fewer pages than what the boards have now and was constantly spammed by bots before captcha was added. Definitely seemed to be more active compared to how it is now too.

Most japanese artists had personal websites attached to webring searches for their favorite series (for example, this http://horrorgame.net/ ) so you'd have to spend time browsing all of their blogs to find good fanart. Been part of a couple. Always game related. Would get sad when things got quiet and the server/forums died out but I always knew it would happen.

Then came Nostalrius. Was part of a great guild, bunch of friends, people I got along with really well. I felt empty for like 2 weeks after that shit got shut down. It wasn't because I lost my character, it was because our community suddenly got shut down.

>Tell me about a dead internet community you used to be a part of.
PlanetNamek dotcom, Dragonball Z was the first anime I watched (this was on bootleg VHS fansubs purchased from a little anime store in the late 90's.) PlanetNamek was the most popular website by far. The forums were pretty active. The site simply disappeared one day without much notice.

Active Worlds. So Active Worlds is still around but it's nothing like it used to be. This wasn't the first virtual world program but it was leaps ahead of the competition when it came out (again, mid-late 90s.) In fact I think this was the program that got me hooked on computers because the sheer amount of stuff you could do. There was an impressive building engine, you could make your own bots, you could own a server. In the late 90's this was all incredibly futuristic. In many ways Minecraft was a total regression from AW.

If video games count, then SWG, Chilastra server. So there were thousands of players on every server, but there was a tight knit group of about 30 very wealthy "elite" players that I somehow found myself in (probably from playing way too fucking much.) We built and ran the player cities and organized the world PvP. I've played several MMO's since then and while some of them had great gameplay, none of them had the freedom or community aspect that SWG had. There wasn't really any endgame PvE to speak of, players drove the entire system.

Before facebook there was myspace and before myspace there was just a whole wild west of social pseudo-dating sites. One of those based in Canada was called nexopia and it also had a whole bunch of forums where I would talk shit about politics (as best as some 19 year old could). I had so many great pictures of myself on there and a few years after myspace became big, they shut down. I was also a part of facthejury.com, and vampirefreaks.com

Also before that I used to go on newgrounds, which obviously isn't dead yet, and would also argue about politics there. I was soon drafted into "The Devil's Advocate Group" and we also had our own little phpBB forum with about like 5 active members, and that one is 6 feet under.

A competitive pokemon general on /vp/.
We had a chatroom on pokemon showdown (an online pokemon simulator) called /cpg/. I don't know if they're still alive, but last time I checked they were dying, so I assume that if they still exist it's just the ashes of what we used to be.
Used to spend every day and night circlejerking there and laddering with my bros. One of the most fun times of my life. It was something I was good at, I liked the people there and they liked me too. We had a lot of things in common, more than with anyone I've ever known.
Even if all I ever saw was a name and some text, they truly felt like friends at some point. I hope they're all doing all right.

2004 - 2007 Runescape

Good times, I remember my friend from school at the time who was way ahead of me in levels gave me gold trimmed rune armor for my birthday... that was when I was like 13 years old. That guy goes to my uni and I still give him a bronod every once in a while.

I just miss it you know? I miss hanging out at Lumby meeting people and shit, leveling up my fishing skill to 99 was probably the most fun I had as a kid other than going to the amusment park or something. Fuck I hate myself for saying that but I just loved it OK.. It was memorizing.

Played a game called chosen space from around 2005/2006. Was never extremely active on the forums but they had an irc channel that i would go to pretty much everyday.

Played the game a lot, first because of its sci-fi appeal then for the community once i moved up in my guild.
Pretended that i was a 30 yr old working in advertising when in fact i was 14. Believed this to be necessary in order to be respected by the other players (average age was pretty high for an online game). Eventually became guild leader and topped the charts for most traded.

Eventually the developer released chosen space V2 and it just wasn't the same for me. So i stopped playing.
Googled my old ign and found that one of my guild members had mentioned me in a forum post years after i left stating that i was like a mentor to him etc.

No magic bullshit though, of course. A tulpa is limited by what your body can sense and what your mind can create. It really is a great method to access your subconscious tho.

On old newgrounds when I was a kid I joined a "crew" of other kids to make flash videos. Ironically I don't think we were ever less productive than when we had formed the crew. Our videos were awful, our posts on the forums were terrible and our games sucked shit. One day our crew leader made a website for us and we were hyped as fuck. It had a thriving community of 15 kids on it, all about 13-14. I chatted those fuckers up on an old messenger (I don't remember which) all the time.

We had fun shitposting. The fucking forum even had it's own burgeoning culture and memes like you'd see anywhere else. We had problems like real websites with factions and trolling. It's surreal when I think about it now but to me as a kid it was all just natural.

Unfortunately it faded away into nothing, we all just lost interest in stuff. I remember getting nostalgic one day and posting some long faggy ramble there about how sad I was that we didn't talk anymore. I guess the old leader saw that and rounded us up on facebook to talk but for some reason I never joined the group chat. Everybody was there but I couldn't face them. And now I'll never hear from them again. We weren't too close and we didn't know each for too long but there is an intimacy that comes with being that embarrassing around others who were equally cringey. I wish I joined that group chat and talked to them.

I just looked up the old crew boss. He went on to study animation in university. I hope he does something great, he seemed like a nice kid and way more dedicated to animation than I was.

It's okay if I feel like crying, even if I'm not upset, right gang? Because I feel like crying a little and I'm not sad.

Funny but we were less notable than them, we weren't even a blip on the newgrounds radar. Just a bunch of dumb kids with dumb dreams who thought by calling ourselves a "crew" we were official. God damn it's silly but I remember that we used to pat ourselves on the back for being so much more mature than those other crews, even though now it's patently obvious were just a bunch of fucking fedora children.

Was part of A3, which was a browser-based text MMO kind of thing. Dailies themselves took no more than fifteen minutes. Mostly hung out in the forums and chat. It was great. Eventually, it disbanded out of nowhere. There were a great amount of refugees who split up into several different, similar games.

I spent two years on one of these refugee sites and had even more fun there since I was in on it from the ground floor up. Had an Internet girlfriend and everything. After awhile, it began to die. I was one of the last active members. When I came to college, I gave it up on the spot and didn't want to hang out in a graveyard anymore. It was called Loreaon, and I haven't checked it in three years. Too scared to.
>>
>golivewire

No idea if anybody went on there, and I barely even remember how I found the place; I think it was by googling "teen forum" and hitting on the first one that looked nice.

Unfortunately, it was basically dying when I found it. It still had enough activity to keep me entertained with more or less like minded peers, but after a couple of years most people dipped out, and the dude who ran the site didn't give a single fuck so he never tried to rekindle interest in it. Last time I was there, there were really only a handful of posters. The most active one was this frumpy, hyper religious middle aged stay at home wife that spent her time shitposting and arguing with teenagers that weren't even old enough to smoke. It was then that I decided to bail.

I went back a little while ago, and the site looked identical, except the posting speed was literally like ten times a day, and none of the people I'd liked on there had logged on in years.

I frequented a forum where people created their own languages, and got really into it. I'm not talking about some fantasy Eragon bullshit, but as realistic as you can get. I remember I did a spelling reform for the romanization of some obscure Asian language...completely insane now that I think about it, especially since I was 13-15. But this was back when /b/ was still a force to be reckoned with, and being the newfag I was, I would spout memes all over that forum. Real cringy shit that got me banned. Of course, I made other accounts but the community was so small, everyone knew it was me. I was so annoying I became a meme in their own community. I deeply regret the whole thing, probably could've been a lot more productive than shitposting ORIGINAL comments on /r9k/.

>>
>>27992208
It can and (when created properly) does gain consciousness outside your own though.

I dont mean you create a lifeform, but your brain is simply able to "fragment" (in quotations because not physically) and create another thoughtform that does have its own thoughts, opinions, and in general separate from you.

The thing you described was called a "servitor" when I was active in the tulpa community. Just a non-conscious entity you could make do stuff (like remember things for you and organize your thoughts)

Used to play a p2w chink mmorpg when i was younger. Like 13. Started it when it just released. Played it for awhile with my good friend then we quit. About 2 years later we start playing again. My friend and i end up getting really stronk. He joins the best legion in the game. I decide i want to be a solo guy i hate legion drama and am a big pvper. I end up killing someone a few times who is in a allied legion with his legion. Him being really important and good friends with the people in his legion says he will talk to me for them. Ends up in me pretty much being kos for the top few legions in the game because i broadcast that there ldrs are fagget niggers. I sold my items and quit shorty after. About three years ago i decide to play again. I was a bored as fuck person at this point and decided i wanted to become a top 5 player. About 2 months later and 5k in usd later im in the top 15. A huge waste of money but i have a good job so it wasnt that big of a deal. By this point im basiclly buddy buddy with nimber one and two in the server. They hate number 3 because she scammed them to get to that position. So i cut a deal with number 3 behind 1 and 2s back. The plan was for me to buy a fuckton of stuff to make certin things stronger and become the top player right before legion war. We would join forces and fuckout the top 2. Then we would have power. About a day before it was to go down i had second thoughts. I decided i was just being a weebo faggot and decided to start working out and stop wasteing money on a lame chink mmorpg. jiggmin.com/forum

it was a forum that was originally for a flash game called platform racing 2. a lot of the regulars grew out of the game, but kept posting for years- i was one. that forum was my life growing up. i didn't really have any irl friends, so coming home from school and hopping on the skype or steam group always made me feel at home. i was banned for most of my time there, and posted through alt accounts which would always get discovered after a few hundred posts. i'd make my identity increasingly possible to figure out, adopting different personalities for each account, but eventually i'd get bored and give myself away.

i met a girl from there in real life. she was my first kiss, i couldn't believe it. being a useless faggot all through high school paid off. we started dating, then i blew it real quick. i still miss her a lot, three years later. trice, if you're reading this, i'm sorry.

the forum was shut down for good a few months ago. for five years my life was centered around something that no longer exists. feels surreal, man.

wc3c - A modding community for warcraft 3. i did some custom skins. It was all around a nice community full of creative people. Rather small community but probably the most important at the time.

The Palace - Some weird visual chat thing. There were servers which all had rooms you would navigate like a real place by clicking on the doors. People got really creative with their avatars. It was nice as a lonely person to feel like there are other people in the same room as you. There's a certain sense of physicality and people would often cyber with each other by going into a private room and equipping a naked avatar and doing this hilarious mashing of arrow keys to show humping. There was this Prep Hate drama where goth kids would pick on casual players who wear prep avatars.

I used to just post normally in various boards. Met some people, played many games with them, never heard from them again. The community there is still existant, but to me, it's dead.

Those were the shit. I remember them getting shut down the very night wi-fi was confirmed for smash bros brawl.

>Wii clans(yes, those were a thing)
There was this one clan I was in that I joined just for the social aspect(I have no one to play games with). It was actually pretty successful and lasted for a few years. Everyone moved on with their lives and are doing successful things. As for me, i'm just shitposting imageboards.

KimmoA (guy who hosted anontalk) had a gaming forum (powerplay.nu or something) back in maybe 2002 or so. I used to go there. They had a 15+ rule and I was 9.
I really liked that forum. IRL I didn't have anyone to talk to about videogames. I had similar tastes. One time I admitted to not being allowed to play any FPS games because my parents didn't let me.
That was the straw that broke the camels back. I was obviously not that good at communicating at that age so I had already gotten a fair few warnings.I don't remember all that much about it so I asked KimmoA if I could have my old posts since the forum was taken down. He was pretty paranoid so he just confirmed there was an old forum he used to run/be a mod on that was focused on videogames.
I then went to loading.se. A gaming forum which had reddit status on powerplay. Eventually got sick of them because of the issues mentioned on powerplay.
Went to fuska.se a far more relaxed forum, did avatar/signature work there for forum points. Fun stuff.
Found newgrounds forum from there. Then found 4chan in 2006. Worst mistake of my life.

A group of my 2 friends and their 5+ each friends who only knew half of each other, so like 10-15 maybe people, got together to play modern warfare 2 and talk about random shit for hours and hours. Closest I got to ever having a clique. Even for a shit console game it became x100000 more fun because of the company and the imbalance in the gameplay (being a douchebag and running around with a riot shield and throwing knife, basically making you invincible on certain maps, unlimited grenade launcher etc.)

Fun times going into an online game with a full team cooperating and talking.

(not guy you replied to)

Funnily enough, it had a pretty decently sized community. (I'd say at least 1k+ people on at all times/I might be downplaying that/or maybe it was more)

When I first got an Xbox, I only had a game or two so the demos were a blessing.

I put a good chunk of time into that demo, even though I rarely actually played the game, I just talked to people and fucked around (it had text chat if I remember correctly).

Thinking about these old times just gets me sad...

I was a truly happy kid back then; extremely social online, a few friends at school. And I was fine with it.

I used to go to this Iced Earth fan forum called iced-realm.de. Nice place, not a lot of elitism, just a good atmosphere. Some teenager, one college student that used to call everyone who made a mistake "dumbass" but he was funny in a Maddox way. Then there was this drama between this 40-something woman from the States and a 40-something biker guy from Holland, they had apparently gotten together IRL then broken up. Also the webadmin of the real Iced Earth website posted there, I think he was Greek.

How did it all die? Eventually the admin of the forum and site started getting more into Kreator, then finally he announced he didn't want to run the site anymore since Iced Earth isn't his favourite band anymore and I guess it was costing him money. That was it.

I used to also go to the Cossacks European Wars official forum, that's gone. People always arguing about winged hussars and whether they're strong enough or not strong enough in the game. A lot of their stupid ideas got put into Cossacks 2 which is probably why it failed.

And the history.ca forums (Canadian History channel forum), back when the history channel was actually good and showed war movies, not bullshit about ancient aliens and cheap entertainment. That got shut down for some reason. First forum I ever went to.

After Runescape was updated and got rid of free trade and the wilderness,I put loads of time into private servers.

I hopped from server to server looking for the perfect one, some would get shut down within a month of being open when they didn't get money, and others would be completely empty but still be sort-of fun. Sadly I can't recall the names.

I remember a few of them more than the others, there was one in which a few friends were some of the first to join, we became friends with the owner, managed to be the richest people on the server, overall fun. Not too sure why we stopped playing, but I do remember going back a few months later and being underwhelmed, I remember fighting whilst risking everything before quitting and begging my friend (who had no longer been playing it) to give me his stuff, but he never did...

Another server I remember was the true cancer server in which most of the items were custom shit you'd expect a 9 year old had drawn (I dont remember the name exactly, but it was something along the lines of Rainbowscape)

I remember being lured by what I think was a mod, into a inconspicuous area which you'd have never imagined to be dangerous.

There was another server which was as close to the current runescape at the time (2008/9) except without the grinding; these guys basically had a perfect private server, sadly they would get invaded by hackers every other hour. I remember staking a guy who just teleported out of reach from me and started using mage or range on my ass.

Finally the server which I know I spent most time on (Had thousands of posts on the Forums) Near Reality, this one had custom items, but it was a good amount, not an overdose of them, different tiered Whips (Lime being best for some reason), Wings, etc. This game got me addicted to gambling, I spent hours staking people for banks, and at one point I was at least in the running for top 50 richest. Sadly Jagex closed the server down because it was too popular.
>>
>>27996962
Do you feel the impulse to gamble the way a smoker feels the need to light up?
>>
>>27997021
To clarify, my father is a gambler but I've only been a nicotine addict so I find it hard to imagine an impulse to risk money. Do you get a rush when you win?
>>
>>27997021
I'd say it's pretty close, but not that bad recently.

This lead me into highschool gambling in which I managed to find a group of "friends" who'd be willing to bet massive (for a kid) amounts over minuscule things.

We were doing $100 coin flips; literally just flipping coins all year long. One day I managed to turn $100 into $700, then I managed to lose it all, I felt truly sick to my stomach experiencing what it was like to lose it all.

This then led to playing online poker, but I've managed to take a break.

I say addicted but recently its more of a: when i start I dont stop, not really a "i must do it all the time"

I have no interest in turning $100 into $1000, I keep going until i lose it all. I have no end-goal. I do not value money. If I have some, i might as-well use it for something.

Luckily I'm only 20 so I haven't done in-person gambling at a casino yet, but we'll see what happens in a year.
>>
>>27997141
Might as-well add that I think I've deposited around $5-7.5k into various poker-sites since around age 16, a hundred every other week adds up. I don't think any of my balances are above $100, but I haven't played in awhile.

But don't think I just lose it all because I'm bad, it's a up-and-down situation, I turned $100, into $3k+ at one point, but I just kept playing and a couple of losing streaks will fuck anyone over.
