Dvdfags? Dvd has been obsolete for some time now. Vhs is good if you're poor (or neet) with nothing to do, though.
Unless you're thinking back to the early 2000s then dvd is still superior and it would be stupid to not use a superior format.

There were some people like my folks that refused to get a DVD player until DVD completely obsoleted. I distinctly remember Prisoner of Azkaban being the last VHS tape we ever rented, and for a long time assumed that that was the last major film to be released on VHS.
