I had to teach my dad GCSE (last year highschool for Amerifats) maths and considering that he didn't finish school and spent the last 30 years smoking weed while on benefits he managed to learn things pretty quickly, but when I tried discussing philosophy or anything like that he just outright rejects anything abstract or novel unless I really explain it step by step, whereas my INTJ mother is really quick to pick up on both.
ISTP here and pretty comfortable this way. maybe bit of INTP as well.
Essentially I am the more active INTP.

I really have no idea why they got together in the first place, but my step dad only really turned out this way after he became depressed, before that he was much more hard working but had a bit of a bad boy element to him, which was probably what my extremely uptight and organised mom was looking for as her Se started to develop.

Oh, INFPs. Many a facepalm is had, sprinkling flowery language where it doesn't belong, thinking yourself poets and deep and shit with that Fi. They dwell on Tumblr, largely. They're like those weird kids who were emo or goth or write fan fiction. Kylo Ren is actually a good recent example. I see their societal use, but I just avoid them.
INTP here, super high on the T and N, moderate P, and only slight introversion. Highest IQs, worst work ethics. The nihilism brings a lack of motivation.
On 4Chan, you are likely to encounter INTJs, stubborn and superior, the archetypal neckbeard. They care about rank and status and holding authoritative influence for whatever reason. At best, respected scientists and doctors, at worst, this. You will also find some miscellaneous super introverted people. But ISTPs and INFJs are also quite common. There aren't many of them in the population, and INFJs are the rarest, but they hold a disproportional presence online. ISTPs are great engineers and mechanics, knew a few of them in robotics classes, but they're very basic and dull.
INFJs, though, excellent. NFJs and NTPs have great chemistry. Not to take MBTI archetypes as absolute fact, but these personalities generally bring strengths and weaknesses that in these pairings cover each other well. Both suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect and put little thought into their own emotional well-being and tend to fall into depression while unhealthily obsessing in an impractical ponderous state.
