I grew up beta positive, and when I'm with people I've known for a while I'm very much still beta positive. That being said, in new places or with new people I go full alpha positive and people gravitate towards me and I wheel very, very attractive women.
Hopefully at uni next year I can fully exploit that potential and take a spot among the best of Chads.

People don't go into superficial boxes. Happiness comes from self-acceptance, and being open to other people instead of presumptuous and closedminded. No, you won't fit in with everyone. Yes, some people are shallow assholes. But if you keep an open mind you'll eventually find people who surprisingly have a lot in common with you and whom you like and get on well with.
Even if you don't share a lot in common with people, provided you have self-respect and kindness for others they'll generally talk to you, even if you aren't going to be more than acquaintances with them.
You're cutting your legs out from underneath yourselves by trapping yourselves in little boxes. Of course it's a good idea to try living a healthy life (keeping your house clean, eating well, exercising) or dressing in a way that gives off a positive image and makes you feel good about yourself, but people aren't going to instantly dismiss you based on looks or clothing unless they're shallow and superficial, which is their decision, not your fault. Personality and kindness are more important traits.
If you're looking to a cesspit like /r9k/ for social validation then you should probably look for a therapist instead. Seriously. You probably have negative self beliefs that are causing you unhelpful beliefs like those displayed on this hilarious chart and stopping you reach your full potential.
