I don't think it's that deep a film. It's an interesting take on the idea of fate/free will with a creepy bunny costume. I enjoyed it. Don't watch S. Darko or anything else by Richard Kelly
Harold and Maude is the epitome of a robot movie. I seriously can't recommend it highly enough.
Try Elephant by Gus Van Sant.

Glad someone agrees, god damn I thought Drive was such a mediocre movie. Soundtrack was nice, and the scene where he first confronts the boyfriend who's all salty at him was incredibly entertaining. Everything else was like "hey, let's throw in some over-the-top gore and autism, mix it around and add synthwave on top."
Taxi Driver did almost everything better than Drive like thirty years earlier.
