I used to just blindly hate Bernie like many others on this board. I did it to fit in and seem cool. But one day I actually did some research on Bernie and to my surprise most of his policies were actually quite reasonable. He is an honest hardworking politician who fights for the middle class. People like you and me. I am proud to call myself a Bernie supporter and will certainly be voting for him tomorrow.

Everybody on /r9k/ just seems to be misinformed on Bernie. Can anybody on here actually give a cohesive argument on why Bernie would be a bad President?
>>
Honestly I don't know much about his policies I just hate his supporters.
>>
>>27178013
vote for him
>>
>>27177972
Because his economic policies are overly optimistic and completely disregard the human factor. Companies are already moving, outsourcing and/or automating tasks to avoid excessive taxes. For every dollar you raise the minimum wage the more incentivized companies will be to continue doing so. Just look at cali, companies move from there all the time.
>>
Bad policies and is a kike
>>
>>27177972

He is a good person, but we can't afford his policies - the debt would went tenfold by the time he would be done. Also, he lacks the spine to address many important problems. I would never vote for him, but I bet he would make the best gradpa in the world.
>>
He's better than Hillary I guess.

Bernie is a communist, grow the government take more in taxes and give it back forcing people to be dependent on the government instead of being independent and being a merit based society. He hides his commie kike agenda behind convenient stories and feels. "People are starving to death! So give me your money and I will save them" instead of Trump's "I will bring back jobs for these people and I will drive healthcare down using free market competition. So they can be independant"

Anyone voting for Bernie is a child, or a NEET.
>>
Most people on 4chan who hate him do so just because of his supporters, honestly.

I voted for him though

Why do you keep posting this thread?

Bernie Sanders:

+ An actual labor Leftist
+ Votes according to his beliefs
+ Is against global trade agreements, which is arguably the biggest economic issue of our time

- Educated in Chicago(he's a communist, in other words)
- Jewish
- Idealistic
- Isn't actually a democrat
- Will vote against the interests of the people if he believes he knows better
- Hasn't ever been in an important position
- No foreign policy experience
- Will raise minimum wage to a higher rate than I'm earning RIGHT NOW
- Will increase taxes on me
- Will give free shit to NEETs and reward criminals by pushing for drug legalization
- No constructive idea on how to solve the immigration problem while still treating illegals like human beings

I can stomach a lot of those cons.

But I can't deal with somebody who doesn't know how to deal with foreign countries. Like, seriously. Hillary is a hawk for a good reason. The world has become darker and less hospitable in the Obama years, and we need people with the experience and willingness to get their hands dirty to fix that. We NEED to intervene.
>>
>>27179018
Trump will not bring back any jobs. He'll cut taxes for the super rich and there will be no trickle down. Just like it has been forever. Bernie wants a more educated America and people that won't be put into massive amounts of debt because they got sick or wanted to get an education. Sending away brown people will not bring jobs back to Americans. White people dont want to do brown people jobs.

>- Educated in Chicago(he's a communist, in other words)
I guess that makes Milton Friedman a communist too?
>>
>>27179275

No, but Chicago economic theory is about as full retard as Chicago civil rights theory.

Why do you keep board hoping posting this thread. Just came from /pol/ and saw this.

This happens at least a couple times daily. Does it really surprise you that most /pol/fags are autistic losers?
>>
>>27179275
In all seriousness though Milton Friedman is great and literally shits all over any socialist or communist arguments.

>Hillary is a hawk for a good reason. The world has become darker and less hospitable in the Obama years, and we need people with the experience and willingness to get their hands dirty to fix that. We NEED to intervene.
Hillary's hawking is the single biggest reason I'd go Trump if the general election came down to that. There is NO justifiable reason we need to "fix" the problems of the shitskins. Their violence only spills over onto the Eurokeks, and fuck them too, the useless shits. 9/11 was a failure of domestic security, the Tsarnaevs were a failure of domestic security, Benghazi is what we fucking get for extending presence into a warzone...
It's difficult to say because Israel is so powerful, but it is not by any means an unpopular sentiment in IR circles that interventionism is a path to American ruin. Hillary is a true believer in the importance of getting our hands dirty, without even bothering to consider the strategic picture, and that makes her unqualified to lead.

OP is a redditor.

The problem with Bernie is that all his policies are strictly based on some ideology. The most strictly out of any candidates.
>>
>>27179157
>+ An actual labor Leftist
He was quick to adopt identity politics, and I can't really get behind that.
>>
>>27179219
Trump's stance on healthcare is impressive for people like me though. You see I am 26, I was born with epilepsy, I like to work, but at the moment I'm only pulling around $42k a year. So because insurance companies cannot compete across state lines and I make too much money for the affordable care to help me, I get raped royally. I'm stuck paying $400 a month, with a $4,700 deductible. I have to pay for all of my medication out of pocket as well being I usually can't hit that deductible in a year. I stand for NO democrat, because no democrat stands for me, and people like me.
>>
>>27179786

My deductible is ridiculous as well. I basically can't get any medical care at all. Pretty awful, really.
>>
>>27177972
ahh, the good ole playing it neutrally

fuck off back to /reddit/, please
>>
>>27177972
eurofag here
bernie is shit because trump will be more funny to watch.
>>
>>27179219
you seem to be IMPRESSIVELY certain on what trump will and will not do, going even beyond those who have some faith in that he will. or do you just not want to believe Trump is the obvious better choice?
>>
>>27177972
Unrealistic policies. I literally burst out laughing when I read stuff on his website. I have a master's degree in economics by the way.(Seriously.)
>>
>>27180883

Most economists are pretty far-left leaning.

Probably because it's a bogus discipline.

This is bait.
Also, his policies design a fantasy where everything goes right and we're still in debt for 10 years. And that's if everything goes right, and I don't know if you've read a history book, but you need to prepare for things to go wrong, because they do. To provide a massive tax hike and increase handouts, you need a massive public works program, which he has not outlined.

His economics policy can be rebuffed by anyone who has taken economics 101. It's laughable. He has no support other than college kids, so he could never even be elected to begin with. He's also Jewish, which I don't personally mind, but enough Americans do that it will matter come election time. All in all, he's an unsupportable candidate with no realistic opportunity at winning.
>>
>>27179453

I agree. Hillary being a hawk is one of the main reasons I would never vote for her. If Bernie doesn't win the primary then I'd vote for Trump over her. He'd be the most liberal president since Nixon and his presidency would do more to collapse the conservative movement then another corporate Dem ever could. As an actual dedicated leftist(non-identity politics) he would in the long run be the best option.
>>
>>27177972
like everything else provided for free by the government, college and healthcare will turn shittier.
>>
>>27179786

>"affordable health care act"
>get denied because i made too much money at the time, spent an entire year without insurance because i didnt yet qualify for the company's insurance

Thank god I only broke my toe, that was the worst injury I had that year.

Obamacare is a fucking joke.
>>
The main problem I got with Bernie is he is too focused on one issue and that is the "evil corporations, Wall Street, and the dreaded 1%". As the potential President, you gotta look at the much bigger picture. Also, even if he does get elected for whatever reason, there is no way in hell that Republicans or even most Democrats are gonna pass his agenda in Congress
>>
>>27179018
>Bernie is a communist
Stopped reading right there. It's almost laughable how misused that word is.
